“We just came in from out of town and arrived about 40 minutes before closing, so we were those customers everyone loves to hate. ? Our server was Dewey. He was very kind and patient. His customer service was second to none as he was very attentive to my nephew’s food allergies, even at the time we came in. He provided great recommendations from the menu and the food was delicious!! Compliments to Chef Tony! ?“

“Great experience! Owner is super nice. Had a gluten free bagel with two kinds of amazing cream cheese: cranberry-orange almond and blueberry-jalepeno! Also had a specialty espresso coffee called a Peep. Had lavender, toasted marshmallow and white chocolate with oat milk. Delicious! Used their free WiFi for a video call. Super nice folks. Right downtown in Beaufort with good free parking.“
“Exceeded our expectations, what a treat! The room was lovely and extremely comfortable, the house is stunning and the location is perfect. The true gem of the Rhett House however is the staff. We felt instantly welcomed and were treated as treasured guests. The breakfast and evening dessert are fabulous, we didn’t want to leave.“

“Nice sandwich shop. Just to mention, I am a bit of a sandwich snob. The helsman sandwich was a rost beef with provolone cheese and a bit of what looked to be a bit of chopped tomato. The sourdough bread had a spot of butter in the middle, but the bread was not toasted. The sandwich was good. The outside patio was nice. We like a little music instead of listening to the traffic. As you can see, by the speakers, they could liven it up a bit if they wanted.Publics makes an incredible sandwich. This sandwich was over $10. No chips and just water.I probably won't mention it to friends when asked for a good sandwich shop. Not bad, just not that good.“
“I loved this place! Great brewery, right on the water. Stopped by for the first time while visiting the area. We stumbled upon a lecture in progress on SC soils. There was a nice community turn out. Everyone enjoying themselves and listening to the lecture. We tried the Coco Porter and Aria Lager Red Amber. Both great drafts! We ordered dinner from the permanent food truck that is based there. You don't have to go outside to a food truck to order. You order dinner where they pour the drafts, you get a number, and then they bring the food to your table. The food was excellent! Check out the menu, you won't be disappointed. All the folks working there were so friendly and happy to answer any questions about the different beers. The large room where you drink and eat is casual and you sit at shared long tables, although there are few smaller four top tables and outdoor picnic tables. Shellring had a comfortable casual vibe, great beer & food, service with a smile and a lecture on soil to boot. Triple Crown! Can't wait to visit again.“

“Outdoor seating, with great views, live music, friendly & quick staff? Check, check and check! I have never in my life reordered a dish at the end of the meal. THATS how good the deviled eggs and fried oysters are. You NEED two orders! Really loved it here, highly recommend!“

“Fabulous food, I'm from MD, and you may know how we are about our seafood. But the Low Country Boil was beyond belief, along with the Seafood Pasta. Hush puppies, cornbread and coconut shrimp they were the best I have had in years! Our wait staff were great. Kudos! Can't wait to return in the fall.Sorry about the picture, it was so awesome, I forgot to take a picture before digging in.“

“This location is pretty chill (no pun intended) in Beaufort. It's in the back of an oversized older shopping center away from downtown, with a large outdoor deck in the very back of the restaurant.Of course, we come here for the drinks, and they are typical Wet Willie's. The staff here is very good!“

“We ate twice for brunch at this restaurant each time we stayed at The Beaufort Inn.The hotel gave breakfast voucher to use here and they serve a pretty good breakfast foodI always ordered the veggies omelette and my husband always get the 2 eggs breakfast and a meat, he opted for bacon. The service was okay since this place always busy and the last time we ate there our server was manning the whole second floor so we know she did the best that she can to accommodate every table and our server often stop by to make sure we are doing good.We recommend this place.“

“Advised by a local to check out "Maddies" when visiting the area. The food is amazing! The best she-crab soup ever! Top-notch shrimp-n-grits and pimento cheese (Tillamook brand cheese!). Don't miss eating here if you are in the area visiting the nearby Cypress walkway with the bird sanctuary.“

“A very nice stop in our travels that had nice views outside and lots of memorabilia inside. Drinks were fine, nicely done and presented with flair.Although we didn't order a full dinner the appetizers we did order were very tasty. We were impressed with our table service because it was friendly without it being the typical American fake smile keep your distance.“

“We had a great breakfast here. Sorry we hadn't tried it years ago. Husband had eggs, bacon, grits and pancakes. I had the philly omelet with their breakfast potatoes. Just wonderful! Loved our waitress. We'll be back again. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite and then take a walk around the Cypress Wetlands!!“

“Best Bloody Marys in Beaufort and surrounding areas. This place is it. It's small and it's quaint and it's the real deal. The sandwiches are good and the bloody Marys are out of this world. Small and local and perfect. I'm sure their other drinks are good too. Don't skimp on the bloody Mary. Get the good one. Great patio dining and perfect personalities.“

“Although a smaller place, it will still seat possibly 25 people. Our party of 4 shared a large pizza ? with four toppings, and it was enough for all of us. The decor is very basic. The waitress was efficient, but a bit brusque. We liked how they set the pizza up on a large tray in the center of the table and left us a serving spatula. I found the pizza quite tasty. It was a good, solid place to have a very good pizza.“

“First visit and it was pretty good. Wife had the breakfast burger and I had the meatball sandwich. They also have a few local brews on tap and a full bar. My wife was very happy with her Bahama Mama. Ask for Chris as your server. He was on top of things. He even gave some suggestions on places to visit in the area. We just moved here.“

“Very clean and well maintained. Good coffee. The usual type crowd, home office in Starbucks.. so arrive early if you need a seat. Clean restrooms. Parking is limited so you will need to park in the surrounding areas and walk. The usual long lines at the drive through.“

“Yummy and fairly priced! Got us seating right away during a busy lunch time and food was served rather promptly. Got the surf and turf hoagie and it was delicious! Birds tend to eat your food if you keep it unattended so watch out for that! Our host even got us new chairs when it was discovered someone dropped cola on them. Very friendly, delicious, would recommend.“

“I recommend Plum’s Restaurant in Beaufort, SC. The food is good quality at reasonable prices. The restaurant has dog-friendly seating in the patio area. The patio area is highly desirable on days of temperate weather. My wife requested the chicken salad plate but it had sold out by 1:00PM. She had the curried chicken salad which she said was excellent. I had the fried shrimp and an appetizer. It was good. The view from the patio was very nice.“

“We will be back! Late lunch with hubby. The inside is dark but comfortable. Eating outside offers a nice view but even in a warm spring day it's hot out there. Heat seems to radiate from the canopy.Service was fast and friendly. Hubby had the brisket tacos. Delicious. He could have eaten more. Fries on the side were good. I had the pulled pork on a bun. Pork was tender and moist. Sauce came on the side so you could add as much as as little as you wanted. Not too spicy but has a nice heat to it. Fries were crispy on the outside and soft inside. Hubby also has the Peach cobbler. Fantastic! He wanted another. Overall a great place we would stop again. Almost forgot we had egg roll appy. Not the best way to start. Somewhat mushie and bland. Wrapper was good though.Parking: We parked down the road in paid public parking. Hard to find street parking.“

“Nothing fancy by any means, but did you really expect that with the name having "shack" in it, and I'm sure you peeped a few photos beforehand. LoL! It's a little cramped on the inside, but the screened in patio is a good spot for dining if the weather is nice. The hours are very limited, so get there early. We got there around 12 on a Saturday, and there was already a line outside waiting to order. I've been here before and always get the same thing, the Shrimp Burger! It's ONLY RIGHT, being that I don't know anywhere else with that item on their menu. LOL! Don't let the presentation of it fool ya, but seriously, how many ways can make a Shrimp Burger fancy. The fries are just crinkle fries, had no salt but no huge big deal. A few people with me tried the rice for the first time and each person said it was bland with no seasoning. I may try the fish when I come back because it looked good on someone else's plate, but I hope it was seasoned just as good. The cost is not too bad, had to purchase the drink and side separately, but it didn't come as a complete combo. Customer service was great, we had issues with our sodas not being tasty, and the lady bringing out the food was very nice and exchanged them with no issues. The bathroom is very small and right in the front where people are waiting and eating, for some that may not be comfortable using unless it's an emergency.“
