Advised by a local to check out "Maddies" when visiting the area. The food is amazing! The best she-crab soup ever! Top-notch shrimp-n-grits and pimento cheese (Tillamook brand cheese!). Don't miss eating here if you are in the area visiting the nearby Cypress walkway with the bird sanctuary.
My Celiac wife ate a burger and fries with no issues. Very food allergen educated staff made us all feel confident. I had great shrimp, flounder, cocktails and dessert. Fabulous selection, comfortable ambience, and fair prices.We look forward to returning.Thank you, Madisons!

We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00....read full review
