I know folks who will drive over from Hilton Head or Blufton for a chance to enjoy a meal at Chef Frank's in Port Royal.”

“Fish Camp on 11th Street is putting out some great seafood! We found it through a TikTok review of the Beaufort area, and it did not disappoint. This place is huge with plenty of seating, so we did not have a problem finding a comfortable table on the screened-in porch. First off, we tried a couple cocktails - the Crab Punch and the Pineapple Mojito (both were excellent - the Mojito was very good blend of ingredients). Our server, Vanda, was super helpful in making a recommendation of a starter that was not on the menu - it was a shrimp/clam fritter with an amazing butter/tequila/lime dipping sauce - out of this world! For our main courses, I got the Shrimp & Polenta (cajun smoked ham, peppers, cheddar cheese, fried green tomato) - I highly recommend this dish. The cajun sauce was killer mixed with the polenta (grits). My wife got the Daufuskie Island Crab Cake meal (blue crab cake, sharp cheddar cheese polenta, mustard cream sauce, broccolini) - this entree was equally tasty with layers of flavors. Did I mention that our server Vanda was amazing, smiley, quick, and excellent at providing stellar recommendations? That young lady deserves a raise! Try this place, y'all!”

“They keep short opening hours so make sure you check before you go. Pizza was really good!! Had s meat lovers and it wasn't greasy then or when I warmed it up for breakfast. The road outside the door is under construction so parking is almost non existant. That seems like allot of negative issues but the pizza is worth the trouble and all 5 Starz.”

“I hadn’t been to Yummy’s in about a year because I was not impressed, however tonight we went and it was the best experience we’ve ever had at a hibachi place. It was starting to get quiet, we were the only hibachi table in the room at this point.. so I was hoping to just be in and out because the decision to eat there was quite the compromise after a rather hard week. Our server was on point and the hibachi chef was so engaging, catered to my kids wants/needs and just seemed to care. It was a very very needed experience. To see my kids laughing and enjoying dinner which can be stressful in a restaurant without judgement was so needed for us. Thanks Yummy’s! We will be back~”

“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.”

“If you want the best pizza in Beaufort look no further. We stopped by and had a choice of seating in either the hip store to the left or more traditional place to the right. Same great food. We chose the left and had spectacular service from Sean. A great local resource he went out of his way with service you only find in expensive venues. The pizza is true brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. They have a sofa sitting area near the fireplace that caps your evening. We had bourbons. Perfect evening.”
