“This local restaurant has the absolute best Shrimp and Grits on their Sunday menu. Their fried shrimp is the best I've ever had and their Beedos burger is amazing. With a great variety of sides and homemade desserts, you won't be disappointed with anything you order here. It's on the way to Hunting Island State Park. Doesn't look like much but it's the best restaurant in in my Beaufort by my far. Any of day is a good to day to eat at Beedos and their Sunday menu is extra special.”

“We had a small gathering this weekend and had Maggioni Oyster Company cater the oysters. It was outstanding! Jeff and team provided excellent service! The oysters were cooked perfectly and they were delicious. There was never a gap in serving fresh oysters from the steamer and they were all easy to open! Their set up and tear down was seamless. I highly recommend Maggioni Oyster Company for your next gathering! As a side note, if you just want a few fresh and delicious oysters on the half shell, you can find Jeff shucking them, with a smile, at the Port Royal Farmers Market of Saturday mornings! A second side note….if you want great live music with your party, look no further than The Jeff Beasley Band…..he is a master of both trades!”

“Oh my God, was the food delicious! Johnathan was working the kitchen in the food truck and Dutch was working the crowd of customers. Insanely wonderful food but it takes time to prepare , not hours or anything but if you are looking for the 3 minutes at the fast food window tempo, you won't find it here. our food to about 15 minutes and was absolutely worth it. Give this place a try on your way to or from the beach. You will thank me, I promise.”

“Don't miss out on this local gem outside Beaufort on the way to Hunting Island! Gullah Grub Restaurant features low country cooking at its finest prepared in the traditions of the Gullah people living along Atlantic coastal regions. The building is super charming and filled with articles, photographs, and artwork related to the owners, Bill & Sara Green, and their mission to serve locally sourced organic foods. Bill was actually there and prepared our meals. I tried the chicken gumbo with a side of rice - she got the BBQ chicken lunch with potato salad and an extra side of mac-n-cheese. Of all these items, my favorite, by far, was the chicken gumbo - super thick and flavorful with a hint of smokiness - EXCELLENT! I mixed the rice with it and it was perfection. Next time I'll try the shrimp gumbo. My second favorite item was the potato salad - seriously, the best I've ever had. Drinks were very good (I preferred the lemonade over the sweet tea). Corn bread is complimentary at the start - very tasty! We had room for a little dessert, so we asked our server for her recommendation - sweet potato pie or peach cobbler. The pie was her favorite, and it did not disappoint! We really felt like family in this restaurant, and the food was great. You must try this place if you're in the Beaufort area!”

“If you want the best pizza in Beaufort look no further. We stopped by and had a choice of seating in either the hip store to the left or more traditional place to the right. Same great food. We chose the left and had spectacular service from Sean. A great local resource he went out of his way with service you only find in expensive venues. The pizza is true brick oven and the ingredients were fresh. They have a sofa sitting area near the fireplace that caps your evening. We had bourbons. Perfect evening.”

“The best hidden gem in Beaufort. The corn ribs were so good we ate before getting picture we also had crack nachos, Mac n cheese, pork carnitas, fish taco, Gullah taco and Hawaiian taco. They were all outstanding. I could eat the corn ribs everyday. Belle was a great server.”

“Fish Camp on 11th Street is putting out some great seafood! We found it through a TikTok review of the Beaufort area, and it did not disappoint. This place is huge with plenty of seating, so we did not have a problem finding a comfortable table on the screened-in porch. First off, we tried a couple cocktails - the Crab Punch and the Pineapple Mojito (both were excellent - the Mojito was very good blend of ingredients). Our server, Vanda, was super helpful in making a recommendation of a starter that was not on the menu - it was a shrimp/clam fritter with an amazing butter/tequila/lime dipping sauce - out of this world! For our main courses, I got the Shrimp & Polenta (cajun smoked ham, peppers, cheddar cheese, fried green tomato) - I highly recommend this dish. The cajun sauce was killer mixed with the polenta (grits). My wife got the Daufuskie Island Crab Cake meal (blue crab cake, sharp cheddar cheese polenta, mustard cream sauce, broccolini) - this entree was equally tasty with layers of flavors. Did I mention that our server Vanda was amazing, smiley, quick, and excellent at providing stellar recommendations? That young lady deserves a raise! Try this place, y'all!”

We started with rooftop cocktails (made to order) before heading down to dinner in the beautiful dining room. My filet mignon was the best I have ever had! I grew up in the restaurant business - my parents were founders, owners, operators of their high-end steakhouse; my dad trained his chefs and served only the finest of everything. Chef Rob is truly a master chef - my filet was outstanding!!! I highly recommend Chef Rob and Ribaut Social Club for your very best dining experience!! “Such a great little cafe with an assortment of muffins and breads to enjoy with even a larger assortment of hot, cold, or iced coffees. Then evenings are an opportunity to sit and enjoy one of their specialty cocktails or to purchase a bottle of wine for the hotel room. Both times I have visited this week (Tues. eve & Wed am) I was greeted the most pleasant server. Just a friendly barista with a welcoming smile and attitude. It was such a pleasant and needed experience after a flying in and being tired. Well done City Java. This is must to anyone visiting.”
