“My wife and I have eaten here many times and the food and service are always excellent. Don't understand the negative reviews though, as everyone we know that has eaten here has also been extremely impressed. Staff are super friendly and their fried seafood is delicious. Have never eaten breakfast here, so I can't provide a rating for that. My wife and I always split the Seacow fried dinner that includes two items (shrimp and fish for us) and have never been disappointed and leave full. The Seacow isn't fancy or ostentatious, just a pleasant and relaxing little restaurant on my favorite island.”

“We visited Edisto Island this past weekend. We came in to grab a couple of drinks. I ordered the London Fog Latte which I had never heard of before. It was DELICIOUS! I went to Starbucks this morning and ordered one, hoping it would be just like the one I ordered at your café. Sadly, it was horrendous and I had to pour it out. Kudos!”

“I had a lovely dinner at high tides. The restaurant is very nice and welcoming. it has a great view of the water and the food was very good. I had the fried shrimp with mac and cheese and collard greens. it was delicious. my server was wonderful. I would highly recommend this restaurant when you come to Edisto!”

“I decided to come to this restaurant with my family during my vacation here. Our server, Deana, was absolutely wonderful and attentive. We ordered our food having high expectations because of the prices. As soon as we got our food, I was completely appalled at the canned green beans, especially considering it was the fresh vegetable of the day. Overall the food was very average and extremely overpriced and the canned green beans have caused me to never return. Do yourself a favor, bring your own sandwich from home and enjoy the dockside view.”

“The ladies that work the cafe are AWESOME. They always come out to see my dog, Archie. He loves the attention they give them!! Very friendly and helpful with any questions we’ve had. The coffee drinks are AMAZING. We had some sandwiches last weekend & they were very good. Oh & did I mention they have ice cream!!”

“I have worked many retail positions throughout my life, many during my teen years. Good service includes acknowledging customers who walk in the door with at least a "Hello" and possibly "Is there anything I can help you with?" Instead, the two teenager/early 20s employees had scowls on their faces the entire time we were in the store, shot stares at us and when we went up to the counter to order our ice cream the one employee still did not ask us how she could help us; my husband had to initiate the conversation with her to tell her what he wanted to order. Furthermore, he said "thank you" to her twice during their engagement and she still said absolutely nothing to him. Very rude customer service and also did not represent Edisto Island well. This place is a tourist attraction because of it's beauty and you should be grateful that people want to come to your home and even more so spend money in your overpriced store. I do not recommend!”

“Absolutely love this new cafe!!. It is in such a great location on the way to Kiawah Island. To Go options, smoothies, brunch options, coffee, alcohol, picnic options, indoor sit down dining, and outdoor air down dining options. Atmosphere is super fresh, clean, everyone is so friendly and kind. We were a bit nervous stopping at a new place but absolutely fell in love. We also have two little boys and we did not feel uncomfortable or a nuisance. We often times run into that feeling when eating but that was not the case. They also had a refrigerator full of all local business products from local alcohol to local bagels to local ice cream. We will be definitely stopping by next time we go to Kiawah and also we will be bringing all of our local friends. Such a nice warm welcome change when it comes to places to eat in the Kiawah area.”
