Tonight our waitress was Hayley, and she was great! She was friendly, attentive, and personable! It was so nice to have a pleasant dining experience with such good food and wonderful service. “Crystal and her staff are excellent. Im a regular customer 4-5 times per week. Despite the employee shortage they make it happen. From the drive thru to the front counter to cooking and cleaning everyone does their best. Hire more MATURE people and watch this place take off. I won't go any where else as along as these great dedicated people are here.”

“First time ever going, the squash casserole is AMAZING. The place is cutesy very southern has a local merch right next to the tables. Think a smaller cracker barrel but way better food. They only have one restroom and the sink is on the toilet lid, something about the environment lol just be warned.”

“This is an amazing restaurant! The atmosphere and service is top notch and the chef is amazing. We had the pimento chitin start followed by the fried chicken with cheese Mac and collard greens and finished it off with banana pudding. Simple dishes but to prepare them correctly takes great talent, to prepare them the way they did takes great talent. My compliments to the chef!!!”

“We’ve never had a better burger! We always knew we wanted blackout to cater our wedding and they showed out!! The food was amazing! Any one who didn’t get the burger was regretting it immediately. “I had the pleasure of meeting these wonderful people at the Columbia Black Expo. First of all, there counter was swamped! When I finally got through I found out why: that awesome crab pie! Made with real crab meat baked in a light airy crust, I was instantly transported back to Charleston with each bite! I will certainly be dropping by your establishment on my trips to Charleston!!
