“Friends of ours invited us to brunch at Harvest Moon...I'm so glad they did! Their collard greens and lowcountry fair was easily as good as Justine's Kitchen in downtown Charleston. Only instead of waiting I'm a long line out the door and around the corner, we got fast, friendly service!!!”
“5 stars!!! I would recommend Little Bee Sugar Cookies! I ordered cookies for my sons 2nd birthday. Chelsea did an amazing job and the cookies were perfect. The cookies tasted great too. Chelsea was also very responsive, pick up was super easy, and I loved the attention to detail for the packaging. We will definitely be repeat customers.”
“Wide Awake Coffee is a definite spot to stop for strong coffee or expresó shots. The owner Sonnie was warm and welcoming. Come in and get some! They also serve ice cream, wine and other snacks.”
“Best Chinese food I've had this far! And I've tried lots of different places in and out of the area! Definitely recommend the sweet and sour chicken oh my goodness so good!!! Also lots over really other amazing dishes but that one is unbeatable! Thank you for such great quality food and service!!”
“I heard steak and biscuits. Thought like McDonalds. But was country fried steak. My bad, I was in the south, should have known better. Was still very good. Could have been a little hotter.”
“Great dinner. They don’t take reservations so you may have to wait but it’s worth it. Pork chop was a little on the small side but tender and well (sweet) seasoned. The grilled shrimp are Cajun spiced, the fried flounder was just good. BEST cheesecake I’ve have EVER eaten! Wine was reasonable with a good variety. Overall a great experience, with the drive and the wait.”
“Beautiful gardens and restaurant. We did wait a while before service came for drinks but was quick after that. I had the shrimp and grits and sampled some of the bisque and salads. All of it was delicious. The shrimp and grits was perfectly creamy and chewy. The tomato was flavorful and the shrimp juicy.”
“These small, off the road, diners are some of my favorite places to eat. There cheeseburgers are some of the best i've ever had. My wife and I try to go there as much as possible.”
“Always a fun and chill experience here! I attended the valentines chocolate and wine pairing event and it was both delicious and spectacular. Our host, Michael, was very friendly and knowledgeable. I love the atmosphere and the super friendly staff!”

“Came here and had the Wadmalaw BBQ. The food was awesome! The service was awesome. I absolutely loved the atmosphere. They also are dog friendly and allow people with dogs to sit at picnic table outside. Will definitely be back!”
“Pooka’s kitchen is one of a kind and serves absolutely delicious food. The platinum wing sauce was unmatched, the fried fish and shrimp had the perfect crust, and the hush puppies were out of this world. God was in this dish. Great service and energy all around.”
“Let me tell you, this is exactly the food that we were looking for! Food that is made with love. Not even comparable to a big chain restaurants. All the dishes that our family ordered, each one of them enjoyed the dishes. The staff were very kind and also recommended dishes on the menu. We will be back! Thanks. Also we had a large RV and a vehicle behind it with plenty of parking.Parking: We had our RV, with our vehicle behind very large parking behind the restaurant!”
“OMG!!! Best Gnocchi I have ever had. The bolonese sauce was spectacular. Dont get me started on the Cheescake. Started off with the fried calamari perfection. My new go-to Italian restaurant. The chef obviously payed close attention to what his mother/grandmother was teaching him.Thank you.”
“Never had a bad time at Edisto River Brewing Co. Good beer. Good people. Great outside area for kids to run around. Should be on every Charleston beer lovers visit list.”
“The service was very friendly, food was amazing!!!! We live out of town and just happen to find this place, and I'm glad we did!!! The Jamaican Jerk souce was on point!!!”
“This was the best dining experience I have had. It is a 5-course meal with the menu changing daily depending on fresh products. If you are picky, this place might not be for you. However, if you like good food and amazing flavors and freshness, you can't pass this place up. It is an intimate restaurant with the chefs serving you the meals with explanation of each course. You get a bottle of wine included with the meal, but have the option to pay for different drinks. Our courses were 1) was parsnip soup, 2) was cucumber salad, 3) pork tenderloin with gnocchi tomatoes and a fresh pesto sauce. 4) steak with potatoes, amazing corn and 5) best dump cake ever.”

“Been coming here for years. Its good food. Its your standard Chinese American food. Its always been well done and in a timely manner. Not sure what the other yelper means about the food...maybe an off day? I've lived out in this area for over 12 years. The food has always been consistent and I have never had any issues. Will try to update with pics. I'm just not big on taking pics of my food, since it seems to take away from the dining experience. I usually only take pics if its burnt and gross!”
“As a native Texan I grew up on authentic Tex-Mex and Mexican cuisine. El Rincon brings me back to my Texas roots with a menu of fresh, homemade Mexican dishes that put the local chain Mexican joint to shame. Let's start with the homemade chips and fresh salsa - not jar salsa too often served by other Mexican restaurants. The salsa had a great medium heat and was perfect with the still warm chips. The menu, while simple, is well executed across the board. We all ordered different dishes and each was excellently prepared. Delicious chicken mole, tacos, and carne asada quesadilla prepared with homemade tortillas (there's nothing better) flavorful beef chunks and gooey melted cheese. We finished with crisp, cinnamon covered churros. The restaurant recently acquired their liquor license so we were able to enjoy our meals with cold Modelos and tequila sodas - a huge plus for most Mexican diners. The owner, Idalis, is delightful and deserves the island's support. We desperately need another locally owned, authentic, ethnic restaurant and they've shown me that they deserve our patronage. Although we own a restaurant just a mile away, we'll be having dinner with Idalis and her lovely staff every Tuesday night when we're closed and invite y'all to join us and help El Rincon thrive.”
“I love to visit here when I come to Charleston. The hush puppies are the best, I just love them. I always get the fried fish and shrimp. The loaded grits that come with the shrimp and sausage is amazing too.”
“We ordered the hibachi steak/chicken and steak/shrimp. Both meals were delicious, cooked perfectly, and very generous portions. We have eaten at this grill several times over the years and we have enjoyed every experience. Definitely recommended and appreciated in the community!”
“My favorite granola! My wife and I eat granola daily in our yogurt. We love this granola because it is made with natural quality ingredients. We dislike seed oils (they are used in engines and heavy machinery) and seed oils are in every single granola at the grocery store! WE are grateful to find a local provider of high quality goods :)”
“My sister and I stopped in for lunch. The service was great. I had a delicious Club sandwich and she had the Shrimp and grits. Both were flavorful. The food was brought out quickly. We will go back if we are back in town.”
“Great ice cream shop. Incredibly sourced products. Some of the best smooth, creamy ice cream ever.Owner was very friendly and told us where he found these amazing flavors. The espresso is out of this world good. Will definitely return if we are ever in the area.”
“Fiore's is a great pizza shop near the intersection of Savannah Highway and Main Rd. They have a small counter for eat-in (maybe 4 seats), so plan on take-away. The pizza is great, with lots of options, including seasoned crust! My family also enjoys their wings, but we have not tried sandwiches. A bit more pricey than the chain pizza places, but the taste is worth it!Vegetarian options: Fiore's offers both Vegan and Gluten-free pizza options for crust, cheeses, and toppings, including plat-based pseudo-meats.Dietary restrictions: They offer gluten-free pizza crust and toppings.Parking: This is in the Publix shopping center, with standard grocery/shopping center parking.”
“Great light fry on the shrimp and fish. Loved the black eyed peas and red rice. My wife and I loved the Mac n cheese even though that’s not usually my thing. This will definitely be a stop on the next trip to either Charleston or Savannah.”
