My wife and I have eaten here many times and the food and service are always excellent. Don't understand the negative reviews though, as everyone we know that has eaten here has also been extremely impressed. Staff are super friendly and their fried seafood is delicious. Have never eaten breakfast here, so I can't provide a rating for that. We stopped there on the way in from Virginia for a week. Stay in Edisto Island. Great lunch menu very attentive server food was excellent.
Our favorite breakfast spot! Everything is fresh and delicious, and they make the best French Toast. The atmosphere is friendly, and the staff is courteous. SeaCow is absolutely the best restaurant on the island.

This small, quaint restaurant is a top breakfast spot, known for its fresh and delicious food, including the best French Toast and phenomenal homemade biscuits. It also offers tasty classics like grits, fries, and crab cakes, making it a must-try for perfectly seasoned dishes. The sea cow club sandwich is huge and oh so delicious. SeaCow Eatery is dog-friendly and has a moderately clean atmosphere. Guests can choose to eat inside or outside on the patio. The food is fast, hot, and amazing, and the servers are generally kind and thorough. It’s a clear recommendation and a reason to return to Edisto Island.
