Just ignore the occasional negative reviews about this lovely restaurant with great food. the portions are fine. the food and wine are exquisite, the best we have experienced while livling here in Beaufort, SC for 8 years. I know folks who will drive over from Hilton Head or Blufton for a chance to enjoy a meal at Chef Frank's in Port Royal.
This is a great restaurant in an area near Hilton Head and Beaufort, SC that desperately needs a place offering well prepared food by a New York trained, young chef. I have lived here 8 years and there are not many good options for a nice dinner out. Chef Franks has moved to the top of my list and also to the top of my list for my younger brother and wife living in Hampton Lakes in Blufton. Make a reservation and get it a try.
We were looking for a place with an unpretentious menu which let the ingredients shine through. Chef Frank’s came in at an A+. Our salad, swordfish and crème brûlée were delicious.
Customer service was warm, friendly, and professional. Friday and Saturday nights are always full, and the space is small so be aware of the noise level.
Will definitely be back! Yes Chef!
