“We had a family occasion to visit Madison's a few weeks ago with a party of six. We had reservations and the meal had been planned for a while. When the food arrived, we (most of us) were astonished at the small size of a combination platter. I personally had scallops and flounder. I had two TINY strips of flounder, not even the size of a frozen fish stick. What a disappointment. The scallops were also 'marble' size. The price of the meal, with an adult beverage, was over 70.00. The cost nowhere represented what the meal should have been. One of our couples asked if the combination platter was enough to split. The server's answer was "they could eat one of them by themselves." This should have been our warning. Very disappointed in the meal. I have had appetizers larger the two tiny slices of flounder. We return to Beaufort on occasions, as family lives there, but we will NOT return to Madison's.“

“This McDonald’s only saving grace is Lin! I went for a late night food run and I think I honestly waited about 15 minutes just to order and another 15 to actually get my food. The guy who took my order was sooo rude! I would say one thing and before I can even finish my sentence he would cut me off. Because of this I forgot to say one part of my order.

When I got to the window… the sweetest nicest girl, Lin, as soon as we drove up I mentioned that I needed to add something if that was okay with her if not then I’ll go around. She said it was fine and added it. The guy in the back taking orders looked me directly in the eyes and said “UGH DO NO TAKE ORDERS AT THE WINDOW, just finish hers and that’s it”
And I get it, I work in food service but if he had been patient when I was ordering I wouldn’t have had to order at the window. But anyways, Lin spoke to us with kindness and patience and was apologetic for the wait. She is the only reason for this higher rating. Because the guy in the back was just throwing our food in the bag and he forgot part of our order but since this location closes at 11pm I wouldn’t go back for the rest of my order

“The She-crab soup was terrific. The shrimp and grits were good, but not what I was expecting. The grits were prepared in little cakes the size of crab cakes, and the sausage was sliced kind of like pepperoni. It was good, just different. And a large enough portion that I couldn't finish it. My friend had crab cakes and was very happy with them.“

“Food was good. We sat inside and while eating we heard the guy behind the counter welcoming everyone. Casually chatting with them, making them feel they appreciated! Great customer service. Very rare these days!! WAY TO GO!!!!!“

“The best place to get juicy burgers. I love that you have a low card option where you can get the patties on a bowl or in a lettuce wrap. Ingredients are fresh. The establishment is always clean and the employees are organized and polite. There is an older lady that works at around lunchtime and she makes sure all the tables are cleaned. Highly recommended.“

“Im actually shocked this place has a 4.1 because it’s actually really good! The tenders are fresh and the fries are popping and the shakes or BANGIN!!!!!!! This place should at least be a 4.5. “Delicious food, extremely clean, helpful staff! On a recent trip to Beaufort SC, after a long day of travel and site seeing we were late getting supper before heading to our hotel. Culvers was just a block from our hotel so this was a very convenient spot to grab supper and we were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean restaurant with helpful staff who seemed to care and know what they were doing. The food was hot fresh and delicious! We went back the next day for a late evening ice cream on our way back to the hotel to end up our day. Already looking forward to going back here again someday!“

CHARLES, gave the BEST SERVICE! He was patient while I was trying to make a decision, and also offered a few suggestions. I felt like I was at a fine dining establishment, instead of at a drive through! I will definitely be back!

“Emily M was our server today. We had a party of 20+ and she made sure our food was correct and our drinks was full she then took another party and two or three other tables while dealing with us and never lacked. Not sure where ihop would be without her because it seemed like the other serves didn’t want to take tables. We really enjoyed ourself.“
