Johnson Creek Tavern is a friendly and relaxing restaurant with a view of the marsh. It's a great spot to enjoy lunch or have a few drinks. The peel and eat shrimp, buffalo fried shrimp, and blackened snapper are standout dishes. The server is reported to be nice and parking is readily available. However, some customers have found the prices to be a bit high, particularly for the salad with fried chicken. The chicken plate and low country boil are priced only slightly higher.
