I have to laugh at some of these reviews..Chris B from somewhere other than there was not impressed with "older fish"...any younger they would still be swimming. Gay Fish is a great little gem in a world of seafood wanna be's. Great people, great service, and of course great product direct from the sea.
This place is exactly as you would imagine a local seafood company to look. Nice selection of locally caught fish and shrimp. The folks behind the counter are very helpful deciding size and quantity to buy. The star of the show is shrimp. It's where Paramount studios bought the shrimp to film the boat scenes in Forrest Gump. They had the receipts in small frames on the wall otherwise no other fanfare. I highly recommend this business to buy local seafood.

We always buy fresh fish and shrimp here every time we camp on hunting island. They always taste great. This time they had art and pottery too. It's made by a member of the family. We got a noodle bowl and a hand drawn jellyfish card.
