Nice restaurant and beautiful scenery
Great place to eat while at Parris Island

Located near the water, Traditions Restaurant offers delicious buffet or menu options. While it can get crowded, the views are pleasant, especially during Family Day or Graduation. The restaurant is very clean, with tables along the windows that look out at the water, creating a beautiful setting. The staff are friendly and attentive, taking used plates quickly. The food is pretty good and much better than expected, with dishes like fried catfish being outstanding and the bread pudding considered the best ever. Though the water area has gators, the restaurant remains a great spot for families or groups at a reasonable price, making it ideal for celebrating special occasions like Marine graduation. The place is especially welcoming for recruit families and provides a wonderful atmosphere for celebrations.
