We love ourselves some Waffle House! This particular experience wasn't phenomenal. Once we were seated, it probably took about 15 minutes to receive our water. The people at the booth next to us actually got up and left. Overall, the service was pretty slow. The food itself was fine. It kept arriving as different items finished cooking. We were travelers. Looking for a good place to dine. We decided upon Waffle House, which upon first thought may not be the “best” place. However. It was the best place. It was the most amazing place.We were greeted when we came in by Ms. Felicia. Her friendliness is unmatched. Her kindness and grace, unrivaled. Even though she had worked over 40 hours in 3 days. Went in to this waffle house at 1 o'clock in the morning. There was 1 person running the show. He put his best effort into my meal. Ordered eggs, Sunnyside up, and they were nice and shiny on the top like they should be. I was talking with another customer about the good job he was doing. He said he had 2 children and was doing what he had to do to support them. Remember that the next time you go into a waffle house. They are paid very little, so please tip them well.
