“The atmosphere at Late Air is exceptional. No matter the season, a chill in the air, or sweltering humidity, the ambiance is Hot and Chill! The wine is like no other in the region sourced from near and far. I am told that in most cases the wineries are visited by the owners and operators Madeline and Colin. This greatly adds to the mystic because if you are lucky enough to be there when they are (which is highly likely), they may tell you a heartfelt story of how that particular wine made its way to Savannah and your palette. The food pairings are of a level of sophistication yet approachable. The menu changes often so make certain to follow them in insta and FB for the current offerings. Cheers!“

“On a hot Saturday afternoon, the frozen drinks and breezy rooftop at Peregrin’s were a welcome combination. We tried the frozé and the seasonal drink which was described as a “Baja blast” flavor. Both were very good! The chaat fries were also unique and tasty. We ordered the bao buns too but they did not show up. It was quite busy so it wasn’t a big deal. They happily took them off our bill.

Vegetarian options: The menu is already limited but there are a few vegetarian options so we were happy“

“We reserved the back room for karaoke for a large group event. Ryan could not have been more helpful in the planning of the event. We had the best time- the drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming & fun, and everyone who worked there was so friendly and helpful.

“I went there for my birthday just to take pictures with my balloons back in July I met a guy named Matthew and a few friends he was with and they had a British accent very good looking young man and very pleasant to be around. I'm not sure if they work there or if they were just hanging out. But I really enjoyed my time there I really like the karaoke as well.“

“So I don't even know where to begin with how amazing this restaurant and experience were! We walked in a little after 5 because we couldn't get a reservation for the Olde Pink House upstairs, and we sat at the bar. We were greeted by our bartenders and the manager (all very nice gentlemen). We started with the "Pink lady" and a jalapeño margarita to drink and ordered the fried jalapeno popper Mac and cheese bites for our appetizer. My husband got the pork shank, and it was like butter. It was absolutely delicious, and I went on the lighter side with the fruit and cheese plate. The cheese plate is served with GRIT CHIPS, the single best thing ever created. The one food I didn't know I needed I dipped them in the honeycomb, and they were to die for. The best part, however, was the BISCUITS, the BEST, hands-down. This was a 1000/10 experience, and I recommend anyone who can't make it upstairs to go anyway. You never feel less than royal. Thank you, Olde Pink House and Planters Tavern! “This is a great bar on Wilmington Island! Small food menu with just a couple of options, but the pulled pork sandwich was fantastic. She brought out about five different BBQ sauces to use. The bar was well stocked and the bar tender was super friendly and efficient. Definitely going back.“

“For a dive bar, this place gets 5 stars. It was clean, had a decent atmosphere, the bartenders were very friendly, and there was a dj, a pool table, and plenty of parking. If you just want a beer or a stiff [insert liquor and mixer], a place to go on a blind date that isn't romantic, or if you want to have a drink out somewhere with your bf but don't want to be social (us) this place is perfect!This is NOT a place for "foodies" or "hipsters" or anyone that orders crazy flavored martinis. Go downtown. If you want good bourbon, classic cocktails, or muddled anything (ie gin fizz, Pimm's cup, mojito, mule) again, go downtown.But, we had a good time, it seemed like everyone else was having a good time, and a ranch water made with Rose's lime was surprisingly tasty.“
