“We have our favorites spots to eat on Tybee and did not realize this year that many restaurants are closed on Tuesdays. Wind Rose Cafe was open and even though we do not smoke or drink, we went in to get something to eat. The woman who does the cooking took our order and after we asked what she would recommend...we opted for a couple of burgers. Hands down...the BEST burger we've ever had on Tybee. You can tell it was hand-made, very juicy and tasted great. We did not get her name...but our thanks to the woman who made that recommendation and that burger! We will be back.T“
“There was no hostess, you just waited for a table to open and grab it, very busy, you had to be fast!Loved the atmosphere (loud), music, and food.Parking: Parking was limited, we drove through a couple of times and just waited for a spot to open, took about 10 minutes, not a big deal.“
“I love this Tybee bar. Good food and great bartenders. They have a brunch on Sunday that's very good, nothing fancy but tasty. They also have live entertainment on the weekends. The bar allows smoking but it wasn't a problem when I was there. Special shout out to Bama the bartender who makes you feel more than welcome. Stop in for a drink as you head to the beach.“
“I loved this little place that appears to be a local favorite. Best little (big) drinks to go, I tried the orange iced drink and it was blissful as I carried the huge cup down the beach. They don't cheat you on the rum. Went back for seconds and I was feeling good all evening. Very sweet staff and not overpriced,“
“Food was good and the prices were great. Had the shrimp tacos and they were delicious! They have a great selection of vegetarian food. No wait to be seated and the food came out quickly. Our server was friendly & attentive. The only downside was the parking. They have a very small lot but there is street parking also.“

“I had a really good service each time I went there, staff is friendly and pays you attention, ask if everything fines.. for food, I always ordered wings and fries, the wings are good the fries are really really good! Best place to have French fries on the Tybee island for sure.. Love them..The last time I went there, they did not have ginger beer to make me a Moscow Mule so I had to take some in a can (at least, I had my drinks, ended up emptying their fridge! Hahaha!) but I would have preferred if they had made it from scratch, so that’s the minus star.. but otherwise, I’m always welcome, well received (even if I have a service dog, don’t feel judgements or unwelcoming looks or comments, so that’s really important to me!) and the food I get is on point and hot.. a really good place to hang out at the end of the day, chill, relax, fun and music, sometimes they have a live band, other nights: karaoke.. love the place overall.. It’s near the beach so it’s really accessible.. there’s also pool tables…so you can find anything there if you want to hang out; drinks, food, fun activities and all.. if you have time to waste, go waste it there!! Hahaha!!“
“Sunday night dinner. 6 of us craving seafood. Didn’t want to wait for an hour to eat at Fannys. Asked a local if Bernie’s was good: she replied “all the restaurants get their seafood off the same 4 boats”….. we tried it and it was excellent. Great entrees and no wait! Don’t expect glasses, silverware and table cloths…..just plastic cups, plastic forks and great food (and a really good playlist over the speakers).“
“The food was pretty good, and we had to wait about 20 minutes. Our server was very nice and made sure our food was correct and our drinks were full. However, the seating was kind of confusing. When we walked up we told the host we wanted to sit upstairs, so she just pointed in the direction of the stairs. When we got to the top there was no one to tell us where to sit or if there were any tables available. We eventually found a table to sit at, and everything ran smoothly after that.“
“Great place to eat! Food was better and cheaper than other places. We have one more time eat before we leave the island and it will be here! Ask for Emily! She is very nice and didn't pester us. She knows the menu and does a great job. We love watching the music videos too.“
