“We stopped in by chance, and we discovered a fantastic gem. We ordered a special, and three entrees. All were out of this world. Then we tried two of their signature desserts - and fell in love. This is worth the trip and a place to put on your list of favorite places to eat.“
“My family and I traveled to Hilton Head Island to vacation with friends. I made reservations for the Crazy Crab since it was listed as one of the recommended local kid-friendly restaurants by This Week on Hilton Head.Crazy Crab provides ample parking, stunning views with a fun playground for kids, and a vibrant ambiance. The menu consists of a diverse selection of local seafood and turf dishes. My fish tacos were delicious — perfectly battered with lots of flavor. I thought our server, Anya, provided good service throughout the meal for our large group. She was patient, friendly and organized. However, there were some notable drawbacks and disappointments. One of the chairs had ketchup smeared on it when we first arrived, which unfortunately got onto my friend's hands. Additionally, our other friend had shrimp with his broil which were not properly cleaned — thankfully, this was rectified by our server. To top it off, the demeanor of the hostess (possibly a manager) was less than pleasant; she came across as rude and condescending when we addressed our concerns on the placement of the baby sling for our baby’s car seat and our confusion regarding our reservation. A kind and respectful exchange and simple correction would have been more ideal and professional in our opinion, especially since various restaurants have different approaches to baby car seat placement and reservation numbers regarding infants.Despite these setbacks, the overall experience was still enjoyable, thanks to the picturesque setting and Anya's attentive service. However, due to our mixed experience, we are unlikely to return.“
“Ribeye was perfect! Lobster excellent. Reasonable prices, great atmosphere (dark and woody like all good Irish pubs). Excellent food, excellent service.Reservations recommended for Monday Lobster. You have to reserve the lobster when you make the reservation. Shout out to Selena, our excellent waitress!“
“Really great spot to come and hang with a group or just a few people. We were 12 so they split us to two tables, but our service didn’t suffer for it. The servers made excellent suggestions and were accommodating. I don’t personally eat shellfish, but I’ll give it a try every once in a while. Theirs was top notch and got good reviews from the others with me who were only eating shellfish. I had the steak and it was too-notch. I would definitely send my friends and family here. They also had live music which was fun but not overwhelming for the atmosphere.“
“The food was BOMB! The server (also a bartender) Derek was awesome. We got the sampler lobster (banging) Shrimp Scampi (banging), scallops (banging) lamb chops (to die for) Spinach and asparagus (amazing) scallop potatoes (bomb) mashed potatoes a little bland. Overall experience was 11 out of 10.“
“This place is phenomenal. We sat right next to the band which I was worried would be too loud but it was spectacular. Ear Candy is a band with 3 incredibly talented musicians, these people are world class. The service was fun and friendly. The food is outstanding. We had the crab stuffed oysters and the Northern special. Both were delicious. Our drinks were perfect. Our peach dessert was to die for and our guests enjoyed the peanut butter chocolate dessert. You have got to try this place. We will be back.“
“Very scenic views of the water and marshy areas. Absolutely stunning place to eat dinner. The food was fantastic too. I got the calamari, a pork ribeye with Brussels sprouts and palmetto Mac and cheese. The food was hot and fresh!!!!! The dessert I got was soufflé but it was a version of soufflé not actually soufflé. None the less it was still all so darn good. Family oriented and date night kind of place. The servers went out of their way.Parking: Huge lot to park inKid-friendliness: Kids menu with a lot on it and things for kids to do at table.Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp for wheelchairs.“
“We had a party of 8, our reservation table was ready. Our server Tyler was right there to welcome us, take our drink orders and promptly returned with our drinks. Told and explained the specials for the evening. Took our appetizer orders. Brought out their delicious sliced bread and dipping sauce. Took everyone's order and all food came out together and delicious. The entire experience was excellent.“
“Their prices were surprisingly good for a bar right on the beach/ at the pool. We had the burger and grilled fish sandwich - both were great and better than you'd expect for pool food. Food came out very quickly considering how crowded they were, and the staff was really kind. I would absolutely recommend it!“
“We were staying in the area, and my partner Googled places to try near us. We ended up trying out the Sandbar, and our first visit was fantastic! The bartender, DB, took great care of us. He made us drinks, poured us shots, and recommended the blackened fish tacos, shrimp bagettes (don't remember the official name), and wings. Everything was delicious and perfect. We went back again the next day and the vibe was great again but the bartenders were not as attentive (DB was off) and the fish tacos were mediocre but I don't think we asked for them to be blackened ?. It's worth a try!“
“Talk about a rockstar owner. Team there is hilarious, friendly, and the food is incredible. Came in here with my sister and my to-be brother-in-law over the Christmas holiday. Our experience here was one of the top highlights of our vacation. I've got one piece of advice to future patrons: get. the. ramen.Go Birds!!!“
“Dined at lunch. Had the Asian influenced salad. Husband had fish and chips. Started with shrimp app at recommendation of server. It was delicious with 6 large shrimp. Broth it was in was like a delicious soup. Yummy to dip the bread in too. Most impressive atmosphere too. Beautiful instaworthy surroundings IMO. Try to get one of the 2 top tables along the right side with large leather armchairs if you are a party of 2! Loved it! Would go again and definitely recommend. See pictures attached for what we ordered.“
“Listen! Best burger, best gyro, best service!! Will 100% be back every time we are in Hilton Head! Everyone! the hostess, the server Payton, the manager Danny, the bus boy, the other waitresses... everyone was kind and nice and serving. It was busy, fun with love music outside... great experience! 10 out of 5“
“Superb service from start to finish. Food quality is excellent at incredible pricing for the "island". Bring an appetite as portions are plenty for lunch the next day. Fish Bites are fantastic! We will be coming back again soon.“
“4.5⭐️ Great service and good food. Super knowledgeable and kind waiter, Oz. He even called to let us know we left our credit card. Had beet salad to start with and braised short rib. Husband had fried chicken. Options are a bit heavy overall but it is southern style cooking!“
“Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere! Our server Dave was wonderful- thank you! Highly recommend the shrimp and calamari, she crab soup, and fried chicken if you are feeling some comfort food. Portions are great, fantastic and friendly wait staff. Beautiful location on the water, we so much enjoyed our experience!“
“This was our second visit since the re-opening last week. The prices have changed dramatically and therefore I would have expected top notch food. My mahi-mahi tacos were very disappointing. They were very dry and needed sour cream, tomatillo sauce or something to add flavour. I was unable to change the accompanying tortilla chips for fruit. It’s redundant to have tortilla chips accompanying corn tortillas tacos. The chips were also soggy probably left out in the humid weather. Thankfully the margarita helped me get over the overpriced $17 taco dish.“
“If you rent a bike to ride on the beach, stop here, it's super convenient with shade. The burgers are very good and only $10.I asked my buddy how his drink was and he said it had too much alcohol in it and that seems like the best thing to share about the place.Plenty of room for the kiddos to run around, it's pretty family friendly while still being day drinker friendly. Weird combo, but they make it work it seems.“
“This is my favorite restaurant in Hilton Head. Live music just about every night. Great outdoor seating with a view of the harbor. The food was great and the Hurricane drinks were delicious. After you eat you can take a walk on the boardwalk and get some photos with your family of the yachts in the background then check out all the little shops. Overall just a great dining experience. I will definitely be back.“
“We haven't been here before, but we're glad we discovered this restaurant! The service was kind and all the food we chose was really delicious and a huge portion. There was no disappointment, there was a free table, even at this busy time. We have added this place to our favorites list. THANK YOU!“
“You should stop reading this review immediately and tell Google maps to take you to Sage Room. Everyone at our table agreed our meal was fantastic. We had snow peas, fried ravioli, shrimp cocktail, crabcakes, pork chops, tuna, keylime martinis, bread pudding and a peanut butter chocolate situation. I’ve seen a few negative reviews mentioned not having bread—why would you fill yourself up with bread when all this other food is so delicious? Our entire conversation was about how good the food was. Our waiter took great care of us and the rest of the room. He was hospitable, and took care of each table in a friendly manner. The restaurant seems to take great care of their staff and they, in turn, take great care of the customers. Don’t miss this if you’re on Hilton Head.“
“The service here was absolutely amazing. Both bartenders were very attentive, and all that, but the food was absolutely incredible! Anthony and Dez were the coolest, most up beat bartenders in bluffton. Talk about an atmosphere! I will 100% make this my regular spot in town. What a hidden gem“
“Awesome dive! My wife and I stopped here randomly and had the pleasure of having Andi serve us. She made us feel right at home, giving us all the pertinent info about the scene! We encountered many regulars, who also made us feel right at home, like we had known them for years. We were provided with many recommendations, made friends, and had an awesome time all around! Can’t wait to come back!“
“Love this effervescent oasis! Micah the quintessential wicked wise, patient & caring ‘Tender… Marley and Ben E. King against crashing waves, spicy cauliflower and Land Sharks on a rainy Friday afternoon…. Restoring hope …. In a lost world!“
“We had the best experience at this harbor side cafe. The food was delicious and our waiter did a great job making sure we had everything we needed (thanks Alfredo). We highly recommended that you sit at the high bistro table at the end of the bar. This table has the best view of the boats and harbor. We ordered the shrimp appetizer (plenty of food for a meal) and a yummy burger and shared a salad. The prices were very reasonable ? ?“
“This was our last night here. So I ordered food to take back to our room. I even ordered a mixed drink for myself. That mango margarita ? was delicious. They even put sugar around the edge for me since I like sweet, not salty. The atmosphere was great. Tvs were playing the games. The heaters were on and so warm. The food came out quick. I got help to box our food up to take back to our room. It was delicious. Little high but very good.“
“Absolutely the greatest sweet heat mahi mahi. The waiter was amazing hands down the greatest restaurant on the island super friendly staff and everyone’s happy my drink never got below half before refilled worth every penny spentKid-friendliness: Absolutely amazing atmosphere for all ages“
“I definitely recommend stopping by here and trying out them for lunch or dinner! I went at dinner time and they had live music and it was just so much fun! The atmosphere was so incredible! Everyone was having such a great time and everyone is soooo friendly there. The owner even stopped by my table to check in on our dinner! I absolutely loved that! The positive vibes and energy is always a plus when looking for a restaurant to eat at! Keep up the good work!! ❤️ Can't wait to go back!“
“We were looking for good seafood at a decent price. Seems HHI has been seriously affected by inflation. Everywhere was 30 to 50 dollars more for a dinner for 2. Not only was Woody well priced the food was delicious. We had a dozen raw oysters, pound of peel n eat shrimp and the combo platter fried with flounder scallops and shrimp. Highly recommend all of the above. Wish I knew of Woodys sooner and saved alot of money going to Skull Creek Boathouse.“
“It’s a great spot to spend an afternoon. Food is solid and they have all the usual bar food. I had the pork tacos and they were packed. My only criticism is at the staff behind the bar. I stood there for a good five minutes as the young ladies just kept finding something else to other than make my drinks. I was the only one at the bar! But, I got over it and had a great time laying at the pool sipping on my piña colada.“
“Uncorked is ramping up their food game!!!On Wednesday, the Waygu sliders are fantastic!!You can also order Vienna Italian Beef sandwiches here. This a friendly bar, whether you are interested in wine or all types of music, everyone can find their place at Uncorked.I don't drink wine, but still love to visit here, for a vodka soda and the Italian Beef or Waygu sliders. The talent is incredible, the owners take special card to curate local AND national talentand provide live music, year round, Tuesday thru Saturday. The dance floor is packed!“
“We are staying at the resort and had dinner here. We were one of 3 tables on a Friday night. Service was great and the food was very good! I had the snapper and it was delicious. My husband had the seafood pasta and my dad had the filet, which he raved about. Highly recommend!“
“We ate here for the first time during our most recent trip to Sea Pines. If you’re staying in Sea Pines, I would highly recommend you bike over to Chow Daddy’s for dinner. It’s a smaller restaurant but they were able to seat our family of five right away, and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Crayons for the kids, a nice drink section, and plenty of out-of-the-ordinary taco and burger options. It ended up being one our favorite dinners on vacation!“
“The prime rib was very good. It is only available on a Wednesday. Try the baked potato casserole for something different. It was excellent. Companion ordered fish and chips and liked it very much. Full bar available. Excellent friendly service.“
“As a retired chef, I am always looking for a new place to try especially near the beach (Coligney). I did not know this was brand new, some things are good, some need work. 1:30 and the area is quiet on a beautiful and sunny afternoon. My wife was very happy with her quarter chicken, breast and wing plus baked potato. I had the brisket sloppy Joe with a side of potato salad. I prefer sliced brisket, but am flexible. Cole slaw and pickles are good, mac and cheese looked dried out. Any brand new Non-Chain restaurant needs some time to see what works and what needs revamping.“
“We visited for happy hour. Service was ok. The server seemed a bit overwhelmed. We had the garlic cheese bread, bruschetta, and pretzel bites. The food was pretty decent. Pretzel bites could have been cooked a bit longer as they were a little doughy. I would come back again and try other menu items.“
“We were early so we had drinks at the bar first. The bartender was very busy but did a great job making our drinks and giving us suggestions which we loved. Our waiter was a lovely young woman, originally from Jamaica. She was very attentive and got everything correct for our party of 5. The food was enjoyed by everyone—delicious and we did not have to wait very long. We will be back soon!“
“Totally chill vibe! We loved the country pop music that was playing! Customer service on the phone and in person was fab! The bartender helped us until our server came! Both were super friendly and helpful! Clean and modern atmosphere! The pics online do it no justice! I was a little leery to check it out due to some of the negative reviews. Glad we gave it a try! My hubby and I had a shrimp and Dungeness crab boil! Soo flavor filled and a good portion! I liked how our server brought it out and mixed it for us and poured it in our plate! Great presentation. The price point was a bit high, but hey everything is nowadays! Would definitely dine again!“
“4.5 ⭐️ Ate at a bar 2 person high top which was nicer than expected. Service was prompt and some of the best we had while on HHI. Had the veal piccata, started with arugula salad (forgot to snap photo), chicken parm (husband said it was ok) and finished with hot chocolate dessert. Definitely try this dessert! I would dine again and recommend.“
