“Horrible manager on 10/13/2022! He ruined my daughter's 5 year anniversary dinner. They were in from out of state to attend a golf tournament and celebrate their anniversary. When it came time for payment the manager came over and told them they don't accept Discover and was really rude and belittled them for not having any other type of payment with them. There are no signs posted that they don't take Discover. The manager said what do you want us to do, sit everyone down beforehand and tell them we don't take Discover. A sign should have been posted. Every other establishment they visited in Hilton Head took Discover. The manager could have been nice about it while they secured another form of payment instead of belittling them in front of everyone. Their waiter was amazing though. Seems they need to promote the waiter as the new manager.“

“9/17/25 was our 2nd trip to Benny's and it did not disappoint either time. Our first trip was last fall when you had just opened & the rooftop was not completed yet. Me, my sister & my niece were delighted with our choices...grouper, seafood cannelloni , Brazilian fish stew...WOW!! But what we were most impressed with was our waiter, Ladrae' Foster, a young 20 year old man. He was lots of fun and very knowledgeable about the menu. We asked LOTS of questions about entrees and he always had the most detailed answer. Excellent service, too! We'll definitely be back!“

“Awesome place. We were debating where to eat between the burger place or the Mexican place. Only after sitting down outside we learnt we can order from both, and even a third Pizza restaurant. Super awesome. I got the burger. My wife got the quesadilla. And daughter got eh pizza. Family happy😏“

“The first thing we wanted to do when we got in town was eat dinner on the water with a view of the beach. It was just bar food but it was good. I recommend the banana colada. We did have to pay to park across the road since we were not staying at the hotel. There's only one other place in town to eat dinner on the beach and it is also a bar.“

The vibe is relaxed and easygoing, with plenty of spots to lounge by the pool or grab a quick bite between dips. It’s not trying to be fancy—and that’s the charm.“

The staff were extremely nice and very welcoming. They have hats, shirts etc. that you can buy. Danny and his staff were so cool to show me everything they had Browns. I will remember this place forever!!! Go Browns!!!“

“Hands down some of the best scenery on the Island. The bar overlooks all of pope avenue and you can see the beach! However most importantly the food was so good. Its not the largest menu however what they do serve they do extremely well! I got a flatbread margarita pizza and a Jerk chicken taco and let me tell you that taco was one of the most delicious things I ever ate! The server Kirsten was also extremely friendly and made the place feel very welcoming! Food, service and atmosphere 10 out of 10!“

“We had supper at Harbourside tonight and it was great! We were able to get a table immediately, which was nice considering most places had a 1-2 hour wait. Kassandra took excellent care of us!! Incredibly friendly and efficient!! The snow crab and peel and eat shrimp were delicious! Loved the sausage!! The drinks are a bit pricey for the size, in my opinion. I would love to go back and try the loaded hot dog!! The kids had burgers and chicken fingers which is their usual no matter where we go. All in all, I would absolutely recommend this place!!“

“The food was good, but we had a really weird experience at the beginning. My mother and I walked in and requested a table for two. The hostess says “do you have a reservation, we don’t take walk ins.” We didn’t have a reservation so we left. But I was so hungry after just getting off a plane that I didn’t want to search for a new place. I looked up Jane online and made a res for 1:00 (it was 12:49… and there were tons of available time slots). So we walked back in and told the same hostess we had a reservation. Then while we sat and waited 10 min for a table we listened to her tell other walk ins it was a 10 min wait. The whole thing was so strange. I think my salad was good, but definitely annoyed by the initial service (waitress super sweet though).“

“I love this place! Treasures are hard to find. Worth the effort. A place you could spend the day just hanging out and talking. Staff is super cool. Volleyball court right there on site. Overlooks a gorgeous golf course on one side. Good beachy music. Great for folks from 4 to 84.“

“I visited The Porch Southern Kitchen & Bar at the The Beach House hotel with my family twice over Memorial Day weekend, and both experiences were solid. The menu offers a good range of food options, enough variety to keep things interesting without feeling overwhelming. They also have a decent beer selection along with a full bar, which is always a plus.

Service was consistently very friendly on both visits.

For dinner on the first night, I had the Bronzed Mahi Mahi, which was flavorful and nicely prepared. When I returned for lunch on the third day, I tried the Porch Wrap with ham, and it made for a satisfying midday meal with a refreshing side of fresh fruit.

Even though the restaurant is open‑air, it was surprisingly comfortable thanks to the large ceiling fans. Even on a hot day, the airflow kept things pleasant without feeling stuffy.

Overall, The Porch delivers good food, great service, and a relaxed atmosphere--definitely worth a stop if you're staying nearby or just passing through.“

“My experience at the Carolina Room was superb! Our waiter, who was from Turkey, was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and the restaurant had a warm, cozy atmosphere. Everyone we encountered provided excellent customer service. I would absolutely return to this restaurant.“
