The staff was so welcoming and attentive. The food was so delicious! Quick service. Great options on the menu. We ate here several times on our vacation. Food is not overpriced and the atmosphere is nice.
My son’s shrimp plate was great some of the best shrimp I have had in a while. My fish sandwich had good flavor but the fish filet only took up half the bun so the other half of my sandwich was just lettuce and bread … which was disappointing. The server was also not friendly or attentive. Better places to spend your money.
Went twice because it's a great location but the food both times was mediocre at best. Guessing the burger had been floating in hot water too long and flavorless. Mahi mahi was dry. Too bad neat place on the beach. JP was really good at the bar.

The Porch Southern Kitchen & Bar is a restaurant located in a hotel, offering a charming atmosphere with live music on certain days. The menu features dishes such as a brisket sandwich, fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese, and a veggie burger, which is one of the few vegetarian options available. Guests have enjoyed their meals, mentioning that the outdoor seating area next to the pool provides a lovely view of the dunes and some ocean. The staff is friendly and attentive, with some reviews highlighting excellent service from servers who are quick and helpful with food and beverage choices. The Cubano and club sandwiches are popular, and the french fries are a noted favorite. While the construction of a pool nearby may obstruct the view of the ocean, the area is nice for outdoor dining. The restaurant can accommodate gluten-free options for those with Celiac Disease. However, there have been instances where food, such as fries and fried pickles, were served cold, which affected the dining experience. The cocktails are recommended over the limited beer selection. The Porch Southern Kitchen & Bar has great potential, especially with its outdoor setting and friendly service, though there is room for improvement in food consistency. Parking requires finding public spots and walking through the resort parking lot.
