Carolina Coffee & Crumbs is a popular coffee shop on the island, known for its exceptional coffee, delicious breakfast options, and mouth-watering pastries. The friendly staff and cozy atmosphere make it a must-visit destination. Customers often praise the amazing breakfast panini, flavorful coffee, and the enjoyable casual conversations that take place there.
This coffee shop is frequently busy, with a line out the door, but they still serve customers quickly. They offer live music, and a staff member has been known to take group photos for visitors to share. The coffee is delicious, and there is a dedicated kids' seating area. Customers love the cold brew, specialty lattes, and chocolate chip muffins, although some wish there was more indoor seating. The baristas are very helpful and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The tips n grits breakfast dish is highly recommended, featuring tender, juicy steak bites and cheesy grits, all complemented by hollandaise sauce.
Recent reviews mention that the lattes sometimes had more cream than coffee, but adjusting with an extra shot can improve the experience. The lattes are generally full of flavor, and even with long lines, the wait on a Sunday morning is considered worthwhile. The outdoor seating provides a comfortable and relaxing space to enjoy the nice weather. While food was not ordered in some visits, the pastries displayed looked delicious. Customers also note that despite the busy environment, the service is reasonably fast, and they appreciate the water available. Some menu items might need updates for accuracy, but overall, the experience remains very enjoyable.
