“We came here for my husband’s birthday dinner. Not only did they seat us way before our reservation, but the lovely host gave us a fabulous table after learning it was my hubby’s bday. The overall atmosphere was very family friendly, but upscale. The views and staff were spectacular, but the FOOD! DELICIOUS! We had the crab dip and chargrilled oysters to start. AMAZING! The fried saltines paired with the crab dip was a delicacy all on its own. For entrees, I had the surf and turf and my hubby had the redfish. I have never had a steak that tender and cooked to perfection. It was butter. The lobster was insanely good. Both my hubby’s and MIL’s fish were fresh and cooked perfectly. My FIL had the fried platter and loved it! His only complaint was the gumbo he had to start was too cold. They surprised my hubby with the most moist and delicious brownie sundae at the end. Overall, we couldn’t stop talking about this place long after our meal was over. We will definitely come again!“

“My wife and I had a lovely time. From the Host Wilmer to our server Leona everyone was very attentive. Both cocktails and food were very delicious. Seafood was fresh as well! The view was spectacular, we dined early to get some sunset colors over the ocean sky. Would highly recommend.“

One other couple at the bar! Bartender spent 10 mins filling ice-cube trays before acknowledging us.

“We just ate at Fishcamp. The food was great. The Calimari and pickles were great. My mother-in-law got the stuffed flounder with asparagus and she said that the asparagus was great and she doesn't even like asparagus. My daughter got the peel and eat shrimp boil and she said it was great and took a huge to go box with her. Our server was great. We will be back perhaps before we go home.“

“I have eaten here before and loved it, but this last time was special. We were able to take our own fish that we had caught in for our meal to be prepared. The sides were delish. The fish was perfect, but the accompaniments I haven’t stopped talking about. The lemon sauce and the garlic (I need that recipe, I think I have most of it figured out) were perfect. It made my son feel very special when the chef came out and checked on us and talked about what good fish we had brought in. Hopefully we will be able to do the same thing next year!“

“We had another wonderful meal at Charlie’s! Our son loves the cheese burger (only needs one patty for the kids), the red fish special was incredible as were the scallops. As someone who loves a fabulous desert and is annoyed by imposters (such a bummer when they aren’t worth it) let me tell you, that chocolate peanut butter trifle cake is the real deal and then some! Yum! “We dined at this restaurant last evening arriving around 5:15 and seated right away. Our server, Hart was awesome and our orders were accurate and he went out of his way to accommodate our requests. The atmosphere was nice but started to get really noisy upon our departure. The hush puppies were delicious and our Bloody Mary was exceptional but the rest of our food was mediocre. I will say my scallops were sweet and tender. Everyone else in our party said their dinners were just ok.“

“Long time customer! Truffles has excellent food and even better service! Had dinner with my wife and daughter there last night... they were super-busy and struggled with our order (getting it out timely, and made an error). The manager (Amy)..... came over to deliver the food..... and made a special point of apologizing for the error, the challenges in delivery..... and noted our long-standing patronage. She then brought my daughter a huge brownie Sundae as a "gift". These little things (along with excellent food) matter.... and keep us coming back. Truffles is more like family!

“We stopped in last after the Lantern Parade and figured without a reservation, we wouldn't be able to get a table, but we thought we would try. The Hostess was very nice and was able to fit us in! We had visited before several years ago, but hadn't been back in awhile. The waiter informed that new owners took over in July and he guided us through the menu. We ordered and the food came out very quickly. We were shocked by the portion size as it's easily two meals per entree (who doesn't love leftovers?!). The atmosphere was very elegant and most folks dressed nice, but we didn't feel too out of place in jeans we wore to the parade. We'll definitely be back and we now count this as a true "HHI Hidden Gem"!“

“We walked into the Harbourside to find there was a 45 minute wait; it is a busy place. We found seats at the downstairs bar and ended up eating lunch there instead of waiting for a table. There is a nice view from the bar and the full menu is available. We enjoyed some tap beer, raw oysters, grilled fish sandwiches and a tuna tower. Our bartender/waiter Marlon was excellent. This place is a bit pricey but the quality of food, great service and views were worth it for us.“
