“This was incredible. We went for date night and I was so impressed. I got the Spicy Strawberry Margarita and my boyfriend got the Coast Crisp and the Marboun Bourarita. We started with the Sweet Onion Hush Puppies and the Crab Cake. Both were absolutely unreal. I liked that the Crab Cake wasn’t too heavy. For our entrees we had the Salmon and the Pan Roasted Shrimp Cavatappi. Unreal. The shrimp gave me goosebumps (see picture). We couldn’t help but get the coastal coconut cake for dessert. It did not disappoint. It was superb. Not too sweet and was light. “By far our favorite place to eat in Hilton Head! Everything was so fresh and our waitress was so kind and helpful for a couple of first-timers! The hush puppies are to die for and the shrimp is a must-have since they have their own shrimp boats! The atmosphere is great inside and outside and there is a beautiful waterfront view to enjoy alongside your favorite land or seafood.“

“Great place to go and have some low key fun. This place serves great food without the high brow pretentiousness. I had the voodoo pasta and my wife had the catfish. Both were very good but be prepared for large portion size. My only criticisms were the corn bread it was more like cake, not bad just not my favorite. Owner created a great place but wasn't the best at taking the orders.“

“This was some of the best food I have had on the island. We sat inside but explored the outdoor part. It was incredibly speedy service and delicious food. They had live music playing and it was the most stunning setting. I got the lobster bisque and jalapeño hush puppies to start. Then had the scallops. They gave me goosebumps they were so tender. They were delicious and served with risotto. Oh and the jalapeño margarita was heavenly. Will definitely be back.Parking: Parking is just out front!“

“We had two excellent experiences--one eat-in and one take out. We truly enjoyed both meals. The menu has a nice range of options--at a range of prices (from moderate to expensive)--and all our choices were excellent. The restaurant is a little dark for our choice and the service is fine (don't have a 4.5 option)...all-in-all a great place for a nicer meal.“

“I had intended to go to the Black Marlin, which is a restaurant next-door to Carolina Crab. David the host was most welcoming and sat me at a table. Once I looked at the menu and heard David’s recommendation for the crabcake I decided to stay and I’m sure glad I did. I lucked out with the server— Sam as in Samantha was most accommodating and one of the best servers I’ve ever known.I ordered the she crab soup with Sherry, which was thick creamy and calorie free. Sic. Followed by the duo of crabcake and scallops —both of which were delicious. I highly recommend Carolina Crab to anyone seeking a excellent seafood meal in a casual environment with superb service.“

“Celeste is one of our favorite restaurants when visiting from Los Angeles. The food is creative and beautifully presented while maintaining the Coastal flavors and features. The servers are professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We love the upscale ambience which provides the palette for a memorable evening.“

“Beautiful atmosphere and delicious food -- this is a must see location at sunset -- try the deviled crab or the specials, they are all delicious! Food comes out quickly and service is great. I can't recommend more that you head over to the Skull Creek Boathouse around sunset, the sun on the horizon really makes for a nice date night. Enjoy!“

“The seafood is very good. Nice raw bar and good selection of oysters on the half shell. The location is beautiful. Come near sunset for breathtaking view while dining on the outdoor patio. But like any place on the water, bring bug spray.Servers were very attentive and well mannered.“

“Ms Patti was such a delight she was our waitress the Aunt of the owner she told us some of their history they were born and raised not far from the restaurant. The owner was very nice the restaurant was beautiful the setup was elegant the music was nice the diversity was great. Very nice restaurant next time in Hilton we will be back to visit again. “As a vegetarian, southern food can be a crapshoot. Fortunately these folks have it figured out. I had the fried green tomatoes and a blackened tofu melt with cole slaw and it was SO GOOD. Maybe the best tofu sandwich I've ever had. To top it off, our server was an absolute delight and the patio was just the exact right level of laid back.“

“Stopped in for a couple of glasses of wine. Did not eat, but rated a 4 based on prior visits. They have a nice gluten free menu with excellent selections. Wedge salad is a favorite along with the shrimp and grits.Wine selection is outstanding. I decided to take a quick glance at the wine menu before walking around and viewing the wine not listed on the menu. “Talk about a rockstar owner. Team there is hilarious, friendly, and the food is incredible. Came in here with my sister and my to-be brother-in-law over the Christmas holiday. Our experience here was one of the top highlights of our vacation. I've got one piece of advice to future patrons: get. the. ramen.Go Birds!!!“

“The Sandbar! What a great experience. We just finished a Day at Harbor Town watching the 3rd Round of the RBC Heritage, it was a beautiful day, but it was hot - 90 degrees of low country hot! When we departed from the shuttle bus we had hopes of eating somewhere, but had no idea that we could get a table. We pulled up the Sandbar on google and walked straight over. The service was great and they had indoor and outdoor seating. They were well staffed and everyone was welcoming and kind. The orders came out fast and delicious. The restaurant was clean and the fusion of outdoor and indoor and dual bars gave it an extra set of beach panache! If you are looking for a great spot with great food and aura the Sandbar is for you!“

“This is such a great restaurant, bar, and music venue. The live music was phenomenal and everyone in the restaurant was having a great time. My wife had blacked mahi tacos and I had the island salad with blacked mahi. Both were amazing— super fresh, expertly prepared, and very nicely seasoned. Ingredient choices were spot-on, from the aioli in my wife’s tacos to the lemon vinaigrette, quality unique Italian cheese, and sunflower seeds in my salad. The house Chardonnay was surprisingly good. Then came desert— key lime pie— which as you can see in the picture had an amazing presentation and tasted as good as it looks. Our server was perfect, we weren’t rushed, the outside seating was beautiful, and everyone that worked there was super friendly. For the quality and experience, pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely be coming back.“

“The food was amazing! We had the soft shell crab special and the crab and shrimp capellini in a garlic wine sauce. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The atmosphere was both friendly and sophisticated. Even the dish ware was beautiful. And definitely try Flora’s key lime pie! All of the desserts are made by Flora. “Dined at lunch. Had the Asian influenced salad. Husband had fish and chips. Started with shrimp app at recommendation of server. It was delicious with 6 large shrimp. Broth it was in was like a delicious soup. Yummy to dip the bread in too. Most impressive atmosphere too. Beautiful instaworthy surroundings IMO. Try to get one of the 2 top tables along the right side with large leather armchairs if you are a party of 2! Loved it! Would go again and definitely recommend. “A regular location for us. Sydney was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Also met Colin. Cared about our experience and we enjoyed meeting him. As always, food was excellent. We thought the salmon could have used a little bit of garnishing to improve the presentation. The potato leek soup was a nice starter. The bourbon bread pudding was outstanding.“

“This was our second visit since the re-opening last week. The prices have changed dramatically and therefore I would have expected top notch food. My mahi-mahi tacos were very disappointing. They were very dry and needed sour cream, tomatillo sauce or something to add flavour. I was unable to change the accompanying tortilla chips for fruit. It’s redundant to have tortilla chips accompanying corn tortillas tacos. The chips were also soggy probably left out in the humid weather. Thankfully the margarita helped me get over the overpriced $17 taco dish.“

“Slapfish is always a treat to have. I always get the lobster taquitos and the grilled fish bowl for the most part, but their lobster roll is also delicious. The people that work here are the best and very accommodating with your order. It's a cool spot to sit and eat and not stuffy on the inside. If you prefer to do take out, it's always nice too. Same great taste. Will always enjoy coming here.“

“This is my favorite restaurant in Hilton Head. Live music just about every night. Great outdoor seating with a view of the harbor. The food was great and the Hurricane drinks were delicious. After you eat you can take a walk on the boardwalk and get some photos with your family of the yachts in the background then check out all the little shops. Overall just a great dining experience. “This will be a staple for us moving forward when visiting HHI. We had a reservation at the chefs table. They were amazing to talk to and the experience was great watching them prepare the meals. Our waitress was amazing and made us feel comfortable and laugh. We tried the appetizer special which was a shrimp dish with peas and corn. Sounds weird but was delicious. Wife and I both said our kids would even love this. We also had crab cakes which were very good! Just wish they were a little bigger but I'll take small and delicious with real lump crab any day! Entrees were amazing. Best pork chop I've had in my life and the glaze was amazing. Chefs gave us extra glaze to use for the Brussel sprouts and pork chop for dipping. Wife had braised beef that will melt in your mouth. Awesome place!“

“What a great place to share my sons 35th birthday. The service was outstanding, the food was amazingly fast and delicious. There were four of us and we tried a wide range of dishes. Crab quiche, shrimp and grits, chicken and the shrimp salad. All were very good, the portions were perfect. For dessert we tried the red velvet cake and the caramelized apple cheesecake. I am sad that I cannot remember our waitresses name. She was absolutely fabulous. Highly recommended“

“The water views and the service are fabulous. It's a local divey feel with plenty of fried food fun, but also delicious fresh tacos. Add the trigger fish or mahi mahi. Characters straight out of a Carl Hiaasen novel. It's bona fide!“

“We went here for lunch on a Monday and had a great experience. We were seated within 5 minutes, sat outside, and had a fabulous view. The food was excellent - highly recommend the scallops and hush puppies - and not terribly expensive (although not cheap). Be sure to stop for ice cream after your meal - some of the best ice cream we've had. Definitely recommend a stop if you are in Sea Pines!“

“We were looking for good seafood at a decent price. Seems HHI has been seriously affected by inflation. Everywhere was 30 to 50 dollars more for a dinner for 2. Not only was Woody well priced the food was delicious. We had a dozen raw oysters, pound of peel n eat shrimp and the combo platter fried with flounder scallops and shrimp. Highly recommend all of the above. Wish I knew of Woodys sooner and saved alot of money going to Skull Creek Boathouse.“

The owner, Amy, was extremely personable and accommodating. The staff were friendly and their customer service was great. “My family and I are from out of town, here on vacation, and decided to have a night out for dinner and some drinks, food was amazing, server was equally as amazing and we felt well taken care of the entire time. One thing that really stood out was, i believe she was a server’s assistant because she brought our food out, her name was Myranda. She was so polite and kind and even let us take a picture with her bunny ears. Overall a great atmosphere and thank you for employing such down to earth, kind people.“

“It’s a great spot to spend an afternoon. Food is solid and they have all the usual bar food. I had the pork tacos and they were packed. My only criticism is at the staff behind the bar. I stood there for a good five minutes as the young ladies just kept finding something else to other than make my drinks. I was the only one at the bar! But, I got over it and had a great time laying at the pool sipping on my piña colada.“

That did not disappoint it was a fantastic clean restaurant and bar with an awesome unique floor plan and open door area. I wouldn’t call it the best lobster roll on the island however. Service was mostly good still have a couple kinks to work out before the spring break and summer rush. Overall worth the try to get your own opinion.“

“Friend driving from south Florida back home to New Jersey stopped to visit and select Poseidon for dinner.I have celiac, so always searching for restaurants with options. Poseidon has an extensive gluten free menu and will take multiple visits for me to try everything.We each ordered a wedge salad. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver one to my friend. Had to flag down server. He said a second wedge salad was not ordered, but will take care of and delivered within a minute or so. The strange part is when we initially placed our order, the server read our order back to us for confirmation.The wedge salad was presented on a nicely chilled plate, which is key. Salad is well prepared and more going on than the standard wedge salad. The wedge includes tomatoes, bacon, boiled egg, cucumbers, onions and bleu cheese dressing. Well prepared and looking forward to having again soon.Friend ordered the mixed grill. Steak cooked perfectly rare as ordered. Meal was very good and crab cake was excellent.I selected the jambalaya, which is filled with plenty of items and not just a bowl of rice. The portion is on the larger side, and currently I am a tad overweight, so perfect for big boned old guy. A touch of heat at the end of each bite making it even better.A little carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cake to finish it off. Both very good.A little takeaway order of grilled chicken and baked sweet potato for my boy Handsome Sammy. “My son chose ELA'S as the place to get engaged! He went to day before to scope it out and make a plan! The staff was so accommodating, they gave him the best table in the house. The hostess and the waiter were in on it. The waiter brought the ring with a plate that said 'will you marry me?' They coordinated with a relative who brought them the ring and videotaped the whole thing. We are so appreciative.“
