“food was good. inexpensive meal. got the pulled pork and Brunswick 1/2 order and a salad as my side. there was a lot of BBQ sauce on the pork. it tasted good. my husband liked the Brunswick. I was not a fan. it was a little to spicy for me. the waitress was friendly. we got there before the rush so we didn't have to wait.“

“Stopped by recently on the way down to Florida, and the food is still as good as I remembered. The hot & sour soup and egg drop soup are still my favorite. The owner was really friendly and we struck up a conversation. Will definitely be back to try more on the way back up.“
“This would be the second time that I've eaten at this Captain D's! The first time was good and the service was exceptional. But I would say the second time deserves a good review! We were helped by Amanda at the register and she delivered our food to our table with a smile on her face and even made multiple trips to the table to make sure that we had everything that we needed including sauces. She even listened to me Tell a long and drawn out story and didn't even tell me to shut up. As my wife puts it that woman is a saint for listening to me.“
“EGG-SULL-LINT!!! Excellent!! We had grilled shrimp, scallops, snapper, boiled crawdads (that had garlic butter on them), salad (colorful, crisp, awesome), garlic mashed potatoes (you could taste the real garlic), fried okra (tender), and hush puppies. A lucky find on our visit to celebrate our wedding anniversary!! Not a fancy restaurant by any means but adequate and extremely clean! Service was on point!“
