“For five years our trivia team has been attending Monday night General Knowledge trivia at World of Beer, Pooler. It is our way to kick off the work week, a place to enjoy our time together and to participate in a battle of wits with other teams. For five years, our team has consisted of two to seven members, based on who is able to come on Monday nights. Over these five years, we’ve split each gift card winning equally. We use it like a coupon when it comes time to cash out. We’ve never had a major issue with cashing out our equal winnings until last night (8/25/25). With no notifcation, the manager on duty told our server we can no longer break up our winnings per each gift card. He never explained why (his playground, his rules I guess). The manager should have come to our table himself to explain why not send our server to do his job. While our server was talking to us, the manager stole/confiscated two of our gift cards which still had credits on them (roughly $35 all together). We win pretty frequently and as of today, we have $136 in gift card winnings still to be used. Now we’re being told we cannot. How else is a team of several people supposed to spend their winnings? In one lump sum? That’s not possible. The way this whole situation was handled was highly unprofessional and deceitful. It’s a shame too. We really enjoyed our years with PubStar Trivia. Thanks for the memories….with the exception of last night.“

“We work out of town and wanted a buffet after we got off work one night. This place did not disappoint. We expected an average buffet like Golden Corral or something similar. This was way better than any buffet I've been to. I had a variety of food (salad, okra, sweet potatoes, mac n cheese, cheddar broccoli and rice, brussel sprouts, and rolls) and every thing I had was above par. I would definitely recommend. We visited the one on Louisville Rd and our waitress was very kind and gave us great service.“

“Summer was our server tonight and she was the BEST! I have Celiac and she went above and beyond to make sure I was good with my food and even sent it back to the kitchen for my other allergies. “Went today for lunch. Service and food was GREAT!!! I had Japanese Ramen - which was very filling and delicious, and my friend got the hibachi platter. I got the fish and chips, substituted the chips for fries. I loved the presentation dish it came on! The fish was crispy and full if flavor. It was not greasy at all! There tartar was was really good. I am not a sweet relish fan, however how they mix theirs with mayo and other ingredients is delicious!
My husband got the burger. Big, huge, hand formed patty. Very juicy and flavorful.
The service was great as well! I wish I remembered the ladies name cause she was so kind!

With a name like Bahama Bob's I liked the colors used inside. However, it was very, very dim inside. Need to brighten it up with lights so those colors pop! Bahamian colors are bright! I used my night time filter to show those colors! You've got those, just need the light to make it all shine! Definitely going back!“

“We showed up granted at 11:15. We were told that the kitchen was closed which is fine, to which we asked the hostess if we could sit at the bar and get drinks. The hostess said that was fine. When we got there, the bar manager said hey we’re closing down, and they would not serve us.

It was annoying. Because apparently the hostess and the bar manager were not talking. Also it was well before closing time. Either way poor customer service.“

“This place brings the hibachi experience quick and yummy. I was not familiar with the menu but a kind and patient Stephanie helped me through my order. Great spot to get the japanese habachi experience on the go. Nice clean restaurant and nice employees.“
