“We live nearby and we’ve always wanted to give this place a try. We will definitely be coming back again! Service was speedy and efficient at the counter. The food was fantastic and delicious. We ordered a couple of appetizers and three meals. I myself ordered the Unagi Don. The eel was cooked perfectly - and glazed in a sticky yet subtly sweet sauce. Paired with a side of white rice, a tangy seaweed salad, and a shredded crab meat salad on the side. Money well spent in my opinion.“

“Carnival is hands-down, one of the most accessible and tasty meal spots on campus. The people there are always very helpful and extremely quick to have your food ready. There is a medium sized selection of food and the chicken Katsu with white rice and the teriyaki chicken is phenomenal. The atmosphere is always jamming and there’s almost always music playing. Highly highly highly recommend you visit carnival.“

“This place is always serving up the freshest entrees and bowls. I love the Yakinuka beef with mushrooms, veggies and broccoli. I like that I was able to add on instead of getting rice and it wasn't too pricey. The folks who work there make it a habit to clean the countertops, trashcan and tables very well. The restrooms were also clean. I was greeted with a smile when I entered and ordered.“

“HEIWAS is such a nice little spot with real mom and pop vibes. The owners are super kind and always genuinely happy to see everyone coming in. The service is consistently great and you can tell they truly care about their customers.

The food is amazing every time. I’ve ordered takeout a few times and it’s always fresh and delicious. The chefs clearly care about what they’re serving and it really shows in the quality.
