What a perfect spot for a double date night in Savannah! The Darling Oyster Bar has such a charming, romantic vibe with its historic Southern charm—dim lighting, beautiful decor, and just the right energy for great conversation without feeling too loud. Our server was attentive and made great recommendations.

We started with the clam chowder all around, and it was absolutely delicious—creamy, packed with flavor, and the perfect comforting start to the meal.

For mains, two of us went with the seared scallops (outstanding, perfectly cooked and flavorful), one got the lobster roll (fresh and satisfying), and the other had the shrimp and grits (huge shrimp and so comforting with that classic Lowcountry touch). Every dish was fresh, well-prepared, and hit the spot.

Highly recommend for a special night out—great food, wonderful atmosphere, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Savannah!“

“I met with my Spiritual Sistehood for Lunch and celebrate someone's birthday.. Due to unexpected circumstances I arrived much later.
Although I didn't place an order the food presentation was appealing. The meal was hot and there were healthy portions served. My sisters suggested the green fried tomatoes, greens, etc. They all gave a five star review and insisted that we return at a later date, so I can experience the food as well.
The restaurant is located in the Thunderbolt area just before you cross the bridge is closer to Johnny Mercer Blvd.
I love the open floor plan and you can view the inside of the restaurant wall to wall since it offers a clear glass panoramic view.
It is wheelchair accessible and offers ample uncontested parking. The staff is friendly and greet you immediately when you enter. It was good to see staff members who offer a genuine smiling face for a change. You will love this restaurant.
It is definitely a place where you would like to come again and again.

Service was kind, quick, and on it! Suggestions for food were perfect. Though I would've liked a menu with a little more variety, I'm not disappointed with the taste.
I ordered the fried shrimp basket....eh...not horrible, but not jaw dropping. I also ordered the crabcake sandwich without all the fixings. I simply wanted the crabcake. Delicious!!

“The atmosphere is very dark and sexy located at the bottom of the Alida Hotel. The service was friendly, but sometimes could lack attention. But the food quality surpasses everything, and it is definitely worth a visit. The prices are not that high you would spend just as much money as going to a P.F. Chang's or a Cheesecake Factory. This was a little bit too salty for me but for the appetizer we got CRISPY CALAMARI BANANA PEPPERS, CALABRIAN CHILIS, PARSLEY, CILANTRO, ROSEMARY AIOLI. My main entree was the best burger I have ever had. It was the first time I could eat a burger without it sliding off the bun. From the bun to the sauce to the cheese and pickles everything was perfection. RHETT SMASH BURGER TWO BEEF PATTIES, AMERICAN CHEESE, RED ONION, PICKLES, NORFOLK SAUCE, OLD BAY FRIES. “We happen to come across The Smoking Egg while down Chatham Pkwy doing some floor shopping. Establishment was very clean, service was too notch, and food to include mimosas were beyond delicious. The wife got the smash burger and fries. Both were seasoned well and cooked to perfection. I got the Ox Tail, Collard Greens, and Mac n Cheese. Let me tell you, run don’t walk to order this! “Classy brunch spot - great for families or a good hangover meal in a beautiful, and convenient, location. Good mix of Savannah favorites, a bit of New Orleans flare, and lots of southern classics on the menu. The beignets were delicious and the entire brunch menu offered plenty of options for any taste - while being a bit more budget friendly than some other Savannah brunch options. Would love to come back and try some of the other options - table next to us had a mix of everything and it all looked amazing too. The restaurant was beautiful and offered a clean and classy atmosphere.

Service was good, but a little slow for how quiet the restaurant was for Saturday Brunch.

“The Wyld Dock Bar was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Savannah! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing outstanding service from start to finish. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly, yet every dish tasted fresh and expertly prepared. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the fish dip was the perfect appetizer to kick off our meal, and the crispy shrimp was hands down the best I’ve ever had!

As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I especially appreciated seeing Athletic non-alcoholic beer on the menu. It’s always refreshing when a restaurant offers great options for everyone.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with plenty of parking, spotless restrooms, and stunning waterfront views that make you want to linger. In fact, we were so comfortable enjoying the atmosphere that we stayed almost 45 minutes after we finished dinner, simply soaking it all in.

Ordered the wings dry with lemon pepper. They were great! Fries came out hot. Philly Cheesesteak (no bell pepper) was also very good. Ordered wings to go for an expected snowy evening.
