Vic's On the River offers an excellent dining experience with top-notch service and exceptional food. The fried green tomatoes, shrimp & grits, fried shrimp & fish, and seared scallops & risotto are highly recommended. The desserts, especially the chocolate torte, pecan pie, and peach trio, are heavenly. The atmosphere is beautiful with lovely river views and rich history. Despite being a premier restaurant in Savannah, some customers were disappointed by the presence of dogs at nearby tables. However, the quality of the food, such as the t-bone steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus, and the enjoyable dining experience make Vic's a place worth revisiting. Don't forget to try their delicious water too!
