“Wow. what a romantic, quiet gem. We found 208 while celebrating my birthday, and waiting for our son to join us from NYC. His flight into Savannah was delayed for several hours, and we passed the time at 208 listening to a wonderful duo of guitarists/vocalists,, drinking great wine served by our attentive sommelier Shannen, and soaking in the river views. Highly recommend.“

“The atmosphere at Late Air is exceptional. No matter the season, a chill in the air, or sweltering humidity, the ambiance is Hot and Chill! The wine is like no other in the region sourced from near and far. I am told that in most cases the wineries are visited by the owners and operators Madeline and Colin. This greatly adds to the mystic because if you are lucky enough to be there when they are (which is highly likely), they may tell you a heartfelt story of how that particular wine made its way to Savannah and your palette. The food pairings are of a level of sophistication yet approachable. The menu changes often so make certain to follow them in insta and FB for the current offerings. Cheers!“

Leah make a pinkie bet that I would love the food & she won! Food was absolutely amazing! Lillie was helpful at recommending other places during our stay. “We stayed at the Perry Lane hotel so we decided to try the Emporium for breakfast since it’s attached to the hotel. I got the omelet with potatoes which is so simple but it was very delicious! The ham in the omelet was super flavorful and the potatoes had so much seasoning. They did an exceptional job and the service from our waiter was top tier as well. It’s a very clean and well kept restaurant and I’m glad we tried it out on our stay. It’s definitely a must try if you’re in the area. 10/10“

“Ordered a meal for one for takeout after driving into town from Florida. Was searching for a local Italian spot and this one came highly recommended. Staff was attentive upon my arrival and food was ready on time. I ordered online and loved that I could modify my sides. Hot and fresh. Great portions. Felt price was a little high when ordering but delivered on value once I saw what I get for the money.

I had the NY strip & was able to try both spaghetti marinara and fettuccine alfredo alongside it (as a pasta lover, I loved this was an option when ordering). Steak was cooked perfectly, held its medium rare cook despite being take out and had a flavorful sauce. Both the fettuccini and spaghetti were well cooked and had good sauces, although I found the marinara more flavorful. Green beans were good and topped with cheese. The freshly grated parmesan provided was also a nice touch and was enjoyed drizzled on the spaghetti.

The only negative of the meal was the two provided breadsticks. I found both to be flat, wilted, and soggy. I found the flavor of the breadstick alone to be unfavorable but it was palatable once dipped in the provided marinara. Would return for dine in or order takeout again in the future.“

“Lets start with what was great. My service was excellent Li & Fred were great. The manager and hostess was helpful as well. I had a hummus plate that was awesome. My husband had steak and fries that was good as well. Unfortunately the pork chop was over cooked by a lot on the dry side and the mash potatoes was watery or no butter or cream. (Hint Hint). I have dined here before with no food issues. I will be back for the crab cakes. Thank you for such great service on my husbands 50th Birthday.“
