“Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. She put the chorizo in a small bowl in case it was spicy. I mentioned that I couldn’t do spicy. I appreciated her thoughtfulness. Even the shrimp had a wonderful flavor. My husband and son shard a gnocchi dish. They really liked it. I thought the atmosphere was perfect. We ate inside. This was our first time here and The Public Kitchen and Bar get a 10+ from me.“

“We came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch and holy crap! It was so good! The biscuits are worth the wait alone! The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!“

“Had lunch here yesterday. Atmosphere was inviting, low light music playing. Place was clean. Service was great. Waiter/Bartender, didn't catch his name, but he had a wonderful personality and he provided us with great service. We didn't have long wait time on food. Food was great. Fried green tomatoes and mozzarella bites. Can't remember what my friend ordered. It was a bowl of something that looked very good and she enjoyed it. They have plenty of healthy options to chose from, that I didn't do. I had the 5 spot smash burger added bacon with fries. Their sauce that they put on it was great, didn't need to add anything more. Bacon was quality, veg was fresh. Fries were crisp and very tasty. I feel the prices were fair. The proportions were fine. All around great experience. Yes, I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu. Thanks for giving a great experience!“

“Found Kayak Kafe on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed which we believe is a good sign that the food is good but we may have to wait. To our surprise there were still a few open tables so we grabbed a seat. We started off our meal with a Cucumber Lemonade. It was light, tasty and very refreshing. I ordered the Turkey Cubano with Turkey Chili and my wife got the Lime Chicken Tacos. Everything was simply delicious. If I lived in Savannah then this place would be a must go to weekly. “My first time tonight and i was very impressed with the food and the whole experience. Our server Kalona, was very helpful with helping us with the menu and explaining everything to us. Everything she suggested to us turned out better than I thought. The restaurant ambience was amazing but the food was even better. I definitely would go again and hope I can get Kalona again, she made our first visit even better. And you will not leave there hungry, good portions. Can’t wait to go again.“

“I had the Alabama catfish dinner; it totally was not I expected. the fried catfish was cooked perfectly; it was on a layer of collards and under that was cheese grits. i.ve never had catfish plated that way. but it was amazing, now you might need to be from the south to enjoy this. I did not miss a bite. but the combination was absolutely delicious. We ate upstairs on the patio, it was a little chilly and windy, they had heaters and it made it comfortable. Cudos to the wait staff running up and down the stairs to bring food and drinks in an efficient manner.“

“The Wyld Dock Bar was, without a doubt, one of the highlights of our trip to Savannah! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations.

The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, providing outstanding service from start to finish. Our food arrived surprisingly quickly, yet every dish tasted fresh and expertly prepared. The oysters were incredibly fresh, the fish dip was the perfect appetizer to kick off our meal, and the crispy shrimp was hands down the best I’ve ever had!

As someone who doesn’t drink alcohol, I especially appreciated seeing Athletic non-alcoholic beer on the menu. It’s always refreshing when a restaurant offers great options for everyone.

The restaurant itself is beautiful, with plenty of parking, spotless restrooms, and stunning waterfront views that make you want to linger. In fact, we were so comfortable enjoying the atmosphere that we stayed almost 45 minutes after we finished dinner, simply soaking it all in.

We can’t wait to return in August! The Wyld Dock Bar has officially earned a permanent spot on our “When in Savannah…MUST STOP!” list. If you’re looking for amazing food, exceptional service, and a relaxing waterfront dining experience, don’t miss this gem.“

“Definitely not a place for a picky eater, but the food was excellent. The collards were off the hook ???!!! I had the French dip flat bread and a side of crisps (flat fries), but tasty. My wife had the deep fried chicken pot pie w/o the pico de gallo. She is use to “old fashioned” pot pie, but she ate outside her comfort zone.“

“Tucked away off abercorn is one of (if not) THEE, best burgers in Savannah. My only issue is how small the area is and you may have difficulty parking. French fries are THICC and crispy, burger is seasoned and cooked exceptionally. If I wasn’t bringing food home for my family I could’ve spent hours there sitting at the bar and enjoying myself. Laughed with strangers both bartenders were friendly food came out pretty quick. What an amazing hiding spot. I’m definitely coming back. Oh and the prices are good.“

“Chatham Academy hosts prom here every year. It is absolutely a beautiful venue. I have so much fun with my friends and the memories that we make. It is such a great way to bond with people here. There is great decorum.“

“My friend and I came here for a late brunch and are leaving in food comas (in the best way possible). Nicora took our order and was super friendly and a delight. We both order the steak and eggs (which were phenomenal), and the chef even came out and checked on us to make sure everything was perfect. If I could rate this place over 5 stars I would! 100% will be back again!

“I brought my dog Woody Hayes for his 11 year Gotcha Day and he had a wonderful time. The beef carpaccio was so tasty I had to order a 2nd one because my other Chihuahua Preston wouldn’t stop crying for more. Woody had the Beef Carpaccio, Filet, Key Lime Cheesecake and Crème Brûlée (he shared with me and 3 other Chi’s). The food was so good and the outside is such a beautiful patio to sit on. I will definitely be back (of course with the Chi’s).“

“Front of house and service at Fleeting is spot on. Our waitress was professional and approaching Michelin * level. Most of the dishes we had (party of 5) were elevated. One exception was the pork which was dry and didn't seem to be brined. Cocktails were well executed, however the desserts seemed a bit over-thought and could use some tweaking. Overall a memorable and fresh dining experience in Savannah. Bravo Fleeting! 8/10“
