“Best shrimp and grits I’ve ever had. She put the chorizo in a small bowl in case it was spicy. I mentioned that I couldn’t do spicy. I appreciated her thoughtfulness. Even the shrimp had a wonderful flavor. My husband and son shard a gnocchi dish. They really liked it. I thought the atmosphere was perfect. We ate inside. This was our first time here and The Public Kitchen and Bar get a 10+ from me.“

“We came here for Sunday breakfast/brunch and holy crap! It was so good! The biscuits are worth the wait alone! The decor is so unique, you can feel the history in the walls but it’s also been updated to a modern feel. The menu choices are expansive and may cause stress on which delicious item to pick! I really enjoyed my Bay Street Scramble, and the rest of my party enjoyed their breakfasts too! Service was pretty good, not super fast but it was also super crowded. We got in without a reservation in under 20 minutes which was great! Highly recommend!“

“Had lunch here yesterday. Atmosphere was inviting, low light music playing. Place was clean. Service was great. Waiter/Bartender, didn't catch his name, but he had a wonderful personality and he provided us with great service. We didn't have long wait time on food. Food was great. Fried green tomatoes and mozzarella bites. Can't remember what my friend ordered. It was a bowl of something that looked very good and she enjoyed it. They have plenty of healthy options to chose from, that I didn't do. I had the 5 spot smash burger added bacon with fries. Their sauce that they put on it was great, didn't need to add anything more. Bacon was quality, veg was fresh. Fries were crisp and very tasty. I feel the prices were fair. The proportions were fine. All around great experience. Yes, I'll definitely be back to try other things on their menu. Thanks for giving a great experience!“

“Found Kayak Kafe on Yelp and decided to give it a go. The parking lot was packed which we believe is a good sign that the food is good but we may have to wait. To our surprise there were still a few open tables so we grabbed a seat. We started off our meal with a Cucumber Lemonade. It was light, tasty and very refreshing. I ordered the Turkey Cubano with Turkey Chili and my wife got the Lime Chicken Tacos. Everything was simply delicious. If I lived in Savannah then this place would be a must go to weekly. “Our first experience at their rooftop bar, Perch, was perfection. We went to hear the music, which was wonderful. We ordered the yellow curry and it was delicious. The cocktails were perfectly crafted. The part that elevated it even more, though, was the service. The staff working Perch last night went above and beyond to make our evening special. We can’t wait to return!“

“This was our 3rd visit to Repeal 33 and it was even better than the first two. As a local we are blessed with so many wonderful options in savannah, so you know this place must be a gem if we’ve chosen to dine here multiple times. Last night we had bone marrow, a pasta dish, Brussels sprouts, the beet salad, smash burger, schnitzel, and the pork chop. Everything was fantastic!! Many flavors and options! Antoinette was lovely, knowledgeable, and gave the perfect amount of attention to our table. Can’t wait for our fourth visit!“

“I had the Alabama catfish dinner; it totally was not I expected. the fried catfish was cooked perfectly; it was on a layer of collards and under that was cheese grits. i.ve never had catfish plated that way. but it was amazing, now you might need to be from the south to enjoy this. I did not miss a bite. but the combination was absolutely delicious. We ate upstairs on the patio, it was a little chilly and windy, they had heaters and it made it comfortable. Cudos to the wait staff running up and down the stairs to bring food and drinks in an efficient manner.“

“The Wyld in Savannah was such a pleasant surprise! 🦐✨ We were just looking for a local seafood spot and somehow stumbled upon this hidden gem. The location is so lowkey, peaceful, and relaxing; it honestly felt like we found a little escape away from everything. “Definitely not a place for a picky eater, but the food was excellent. The collards were off the hook ???!!! I had the French dip flat bread and a side of crisps (flat fries), but tasty. My wife had the deep fried chicken pot pie w/o the pico de gallo. She is use to “old fashioned” pot pie, but she ate outside her comfort zone.“

“We stayed at the Perry Lane hotel so we decided to try the Emporium for breakfast since it’s attached to the hotel. I got the omelet with potatoes which is so simple but it was very delicious! The ham in the omelet was super flavorful and the potatoes had so much seasoning. They did an exceptional job and the service from our waiter was top tier as well. It’s a very clean and well kept restaurant and I’m glad we tried it out on our stay. It’s definitely a must try if you’re in the area. 10/10“

“Tucked away off abercorn is one of (if not) THEE, best burgers in Savannah. My only issue is how small the area is and you may have difficulty parking. French fries are THICC and crispy, burger is seasoned and cooked exceptionally. If I wasn’t bringing food home for my family I could’ve spent hours there sitting at the bar and enjoying myself. Laughed with strangers both bartenders were friendly food came out pretty quick. What an amazing hiding spot. I’m definitely coming back. Oh and the prices are good.“

“This is long overdue. My friends and I were in town for my bachelorette trip at the end of June. We found Alexander’s Bistro because it was within walking distance from our Airbnb and we quickly fell in love!! The coffee, the food, the service, the drinks, the vibes, and the EMPLOYEES to top it all off - were beyond amazing. You’d think local spots would get annoyed with a group of tourists (especially on a bachelorette) but Alexander’s Bistro welcomed us with open arms to say the least. They were so warm, genuinely friendly, beautiful souls, and gave us so many good recommendations for other local spots. We ended up coming back again and again on our trip and would do it again if we could. Highly highly recommend. Whatever the specialty coffee is, GET IT. The vegan meatball sub was delicious. Everything is worth the wait even though the wait is never long. Nicole, Tegan, Eva, and CJ!!!!!! My friends and I still talk about the hospitality you all showed us in our short time there. If we’re ever in town we’ll definitely be back again!!“

“I brought my dog Woody Hayes for his 11 year Gotcha Day and he had a wonderful time. The beef carpaccio was so tasty I had to order a 2nd one because my other Chihuahua Preston wouldn’t stop crying for more. Woody had the Beef Carpaccio, Filet, Key Lime Cheesecake and Crème Brûlée (he shared with me and 3 other Chi’s). The food was so good and the outside is such a beautiful patio to sit on. I will definitely be back (of course with the Chi’s).“

“Front of house and service at Fleeting is spot on. Our waitress was professional and approaching Michelin * level. Most of the dishes we had (party of 5) were elevated. One exception was the pork which was dry and didn't seem to be brined. Cocktails were well executed, however the desserts seemed a bit over-thought and could use some tweaking. Overall a memorable and fresh dining experience in Savannah. Bravo Fleeting! 8/10“
