By far the best place we ate at in Savannah. 10/10 recommend.
We were walking back to our hotel and stumbled upon Joe & Vera’s. The sign out front said $1 oysters 12-2 and we immediately said yes! We visited Saturday 7/4/26 and the place was lively but not packed, we were able to grab a table in the front by their beautiful windows facing Broughton st.

Joe & Vera's is a great place with a classy but casual vibe. The customer service is great, and the bartenders are amazing. The drinks are PHENOMENAL and reasonably priced. The food is great, with a delicious fried bologna sandwich and creative appetizers like caviar on chicharrones. The service is stellar, with servers who are welcoming and accommodating. The chef goes above and beyond to accommodate food allergies. The ambiance is super cozy, and the prices are excellent. Everyone seems to have a good time, and the attention to detail is amazing. The restaurant is highly recommended, with many considering it the best in town. The cocktails are top level, and the custom drinks are on-point. Overall, Joe & Vera's is a great spot for a delight and delish meal.
