As a returning guest to the Westin Savannah, Aqua Star is a go to for convenience. Although not outstanding, it is dependable. The service is usually friendly and attentive. The food is somewhat unpredictable.
Lets start with what was great. My service was excellent Li & Fred were great. The manager and hostess was helpful as well. I had a hummus plate that was awesome. My husband had steak and fries that was good as well. Unfortunately the pork chop was over cooked by a lot on the dry side and the mash potatoes was watery or no butter or cream. (Hint Hint). Nice service from bartender. Food was ok. Ambiance is not so good. Bright lighting and converted hotel meeting space feel cold and impersonal. What a waste of an opportunity by a resort property such as Westin.
