The portions are just right (enough for leftovers), and the prices are affordable.This restaurant has a charming ambiance, and we loved the waterfront view from our table! The staff was good.“
“Banh mi pork belly sandwich was out of this world!!! Menu has quite a variety extending far beyond a what you'd think of at a typical raw bar, so I need to explore some of their other offerings. Outstanding food and just a really nice overall experience. Well worth a visit!Update: I've been back for lunch several times. Lobster Roll and Tuna Melt are also amazing! Other dishes I see come out of the kitchen also look very tempting. As a foodie, I'm definitely a fan of this place!“
“Food was good but disappointing that they had only 2servings of baby back ribs that night, and couple before us had already gotten them. It was a Wednesday night and not many people. First time there. I guess I'd try them on a weekend and hope they had more available.“

“Gilligan's is a traditional - some would say old-fashioned – seafood restaurant. But this is what we were interested in as we visited Beaufort, and we were not disappointed. Our fried seafood was tasty, crisp, and well-prepared. The light salad and fried okra we ordered were fresh too. Our young server was attentive and had perfect timing. We were served in a timely fashion and our meal was fresh from the kitchen and hot. We think this restaurant is underrated in its reviews.“
“My daughter and I toured the downtown historic district and stopped in for lunch. Absolutely delicious!! The panini crust is freshly made. I can’t say enough how delicious the food was. I would travel back just for a meal!! And if you sit on the patio you can enjoy the beautiful sunshine and ocean “

“This is a nice place on the non-water side of Bay Street. While the menu looked amazing, it didn’t taste quite as amazing as we had anticipated and as other reviews stated. The shrimp tacos were overpowered with Cole slaw, for example. We also could barely taste the bacon in the queso. However the service was friendly. On the plus side, a single taco comes with two tortillas and had enough toppings for two tacos“
