Food was good but the service was atrocious. They even told us when they brought the check "sorry for the service its different out here on the deck." ok but we paid the same price for food? She took our order and we never saw her again till we had to hunt someone down for a check, honesty they would have had no idea if we had just left.
Love this place. Oysters are so good and the service is great
We ate here on July 4th. It was packed due to its great viewing location for fireworks. We were met in the parking lot to make sure we had a dinner reservation in order to secure a parking space. We were seated before our reservation time and the food was great. Both dishes had excellent flavor. Service was spot on. Jennifer, our server, was very nice and did an excellent job. The atmosphere in the restaurant is great too, inside and out. We will definitely be back!

The Old Oyster Factory Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience, featuring a variety of fresh seafood dishes. The menu boasts a raw bar with a good selection of oysters, making it a great option for seafood enthusiasts. The restaurant's beautiful location overlooking the intercostal waters provides stunning sunset views, and the outdoor patio is perfect for dining while enjoying the view, although it can get a bit lively with large groups. Guests are encouraged to bring bug spray if visiting in the evenings.
The restaurant's highlights include the Lowcountry Oysters Rockefeller, the Sunday brunch seafood omelet, and the savory short rib with Vidalia onion jam. The children's menu also features a coloring page, and the iced tea is a favorite among visitors. The service is attentive and friendly, and the ambiance is both lively and relaxing.
Recent reviews have praised the restaurant's fresh and delicious raw oysters, available at half-price during certain hours, and the creamy and well-seasoned seafood chowder. However, some guests were disappointed with the peel and eat shrimp, which were described as mushy and lacking in flavor. The BBQ bacon shrimp appetizer, on the other hand, received high praise.
Overall, the Old Oyster Factory Restaurant offers a memorable dining experience, with a focus on fresh seafood, stunning views, and attentive service.
