“Food was ? and they were SO hospitable! First thing they said to us was Happy Anniversary when we arrived. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation and they still seated us immediately. Served us complimentary Prosecco and their “in house made” limoncello. We love ordering our favorite Italian desserts at the end so I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have a classic cannoli, but their other options were still delicious. We will definitely be back again.“
“I would give this place 6 stars if I could! We came for Saturday brunch, and got the GT breakfast, breakfast burrito, and French toast. All of it was amazing, and the staff was so friendly and welcoming-it feels like eating at family's house. This is our new favorite breakfast place on Hilton Head, and we'll definitely be back soon!“
“I really like this bakery! Stopped in yesterday for some treats for dessert and got myself a croissant for the road. The croissant was so flaky, tasty, buttery, soft that I could've cried it was so good. My family enjoyed their desserts, they looked very tasty. The service was friendly. The interior is cozy. Having all those display cases while waiting in line is so tempting. It's a great stop for a baked treat!“
“Was so worried this was going to be tourist trap next to our condo. Was so happy to find out its not. Food was great and the price was as well. Had lamb gyro and fries and it was delicious. Service was friendly and prompt as well. Would come here for lunch frequently.“
“This place is a true gem. The service is always super friendly and the food is sooo good. I would place the Road Runner Panini as one of, if not the absolute best sandwich in the area! (The house made ranch is absolutely essential for dipping, btw!). My wife is gluten free and they have a nice selection of GF crepes, as well as some GF baked goods. The GF almond cookies are amazing! Definitely worth checking out for breakfast or lunch when you're in the area.Dietary restrictions: Gluten Free“
“So happy we found this cute cafe! My daughter, who is celiac, and I stopped here at the end of our visit to Hilton Head, as we were leaving to drive back home. So many options and all gluten-free, which is such a delight!! Everything looked good, it was hard to choose! The staff were all super-friendly and patient as we mulled our choices since there were so many. My daughter had the GF breakfast bagel sandwich. They offered me a regular one that they could prepare in a separate kitchen but I declined and got the GF frittata instead. All delicious! We took home a variety of baked goods as well. My daughter especially liked the carrot cake-red velvet cupcake and the coffee cake. But they were all so good! Can’t wait to come back here next time we are in Hilton Head!“
“Pretty good spot! The iced chai tea latte was so so good. Perfect amount of spice and it was just so so yummy. The menu is pretty extensive, with lots of vegan and gluten free variations. The service was good, they just seem short staffed. I got a belgian waffle which was pretty good, but $10.50 for just one waffle seemed pricey. It was super yummy though! Definitely would love to go back to try some coffee and pastries!“
“My wife and I had my birthday lunch here (7th March '24) the food was excellent, very tasty and well presented in a beautiful setting.I can highly recommend this place....we will be back.Michael Dunn CG ...former chef to HM Queen Elizabeth II (16yrs)“
“I lived in Thailand 2 years (2015-2017) and have been to Thailand many times before that. I have traveled to many places within the country and have eaten at countless Thai restaurants in America. I will say this one is my favorite so far. All the dishes I tried are so fresh, just like in Thailand. And the atmosphere and the people there are very friendly. Maybe I will come back and take my kids. Thank you very much. Very delicious ? Thank you Ann and P'Ruan.pleased to meet you“
“While a little bit of patience and an open mind might be needed for this dining experience, the delicious food is definitely worth a visit. It seems like Annie Os has had to get creative to deal with staff shortages that continue to plague small business owners, but they also seem unwilling to sacrifice the quality of their food. When you enter you're asked to find a table and place your order at the counter, food and drinks are brought to the table. They have an extensive menu of southern comfort food and low-country options. While they do not serve alcohol, their homemade lemonade is delicious and a must try. If you're having a hard time deciding what to get, you can't go wrong with the fried chicken (Nashville style available for those that like a good spice and heat). The chicken wings are not your typical chicken wings and eat more like fried chicken and are delicious. The fried shrimp is spot on and I also recommend any of the southern sides. Definitely a place we will keep going back to.“
“The service was amazing and the food was even better. The portion sizes are more than enough. We had to get carry our containers. The hubby had the veal and I had the shrimp and pesto pasta. We will definitely eat here again. We were in town for a quick weekend getaway.“
“Fun menu! Delicious sandwiches, made with care. No gluten free options (other than salad) just FYIDietary restrictions: No gluten free options for sandwichesKid-friendliness: Kid friendly options and vibeWheelchair accessibility: Accessible with a helper“
“The food was delicious. Started with the mushroom soup, which was very tasty. The entry was fish and also included vegetables. The flavors of all the ingredients worked well together. Two thumbs-up to the chef. The wait staff was very attentive and professional. Worth tracking down this wonderful restaurant. I will be back.“
“One of our favorite places we dined for dinner while on our first trip to HHI. We both started with the delicious beet salad and I got crab cakes for entry and husband the roasted chicken. We enjoyed both. Would go again and would definitely recommend.“
“A regular location for us. Sydney was knowledgeable and attentive without being overbearing. Also met Colin. Cared about our experience and we enjoyed meeting him. As always, food was excellent. We thought the salmon could have used a little bit of garnishing to improve the presentation. The potato leek soup was a nice starter. The bourbon bread pudding was outstanding.“
“I tried the baked grouper entree and enjoyed it. Dining companions really enjoyed the lasagna and eggplant parmesan. Wine spirits and beer. Service was friendly and attentive. Behind the restaurant at night is lit up and you can see numerous raccoons hanging “
“Great price! Very reasonable compared to some restaurants closer to Coligny Beach. Super nice restaurant, clean, friendly staff. Service was great, food was even better! Wish we had found this restaurant sooner in our trip instead of over spending at other restaurants!“
“The food and service were so fantastic we went back again! Forget to take pics, sorry. I had pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs; and, my partner had the Southern omleette and grits. The owner, Amy, was extremely personable and accommodating. The staff were friendly and their customer service was great. Please go to Skillets if you're looking for good food and you want to support the local economy.“
“Definitely has a traditional diner feel. I can honestly say that this was some of the better food on Hilton Head. Everything we had was hot and fresh and the service was outstanding! It is a little dated inside but I can easily overlook that for the good food and service!“
“Friend driving from south Florida back home to New Jersey stopped to visit and select Poseidon for dinner.I have celiac, so always searching for restaurants with options. Poseidon has an extensive gluten free menu and will take multiple visits for me to try everything. We each ordered a wedge salad. Unfortunately, they failed to deliver one to my friend. Had to flag down server. He said a second wedge salad was not ordered, but will take care of and delivered within a minute or so. The strange part is when we initially placed our order, the server read our order back to us for confirmation. The wedge salad was presented on a nicely chilled plate, which is key. Salad is well prepared and more going on than the standard wedge salad. The wedge includes tomatoes, bacon, boiled egg, cucumbers, onions and bleu cheese dressing. Well prepared and looking forward to having again soon.Friend ordered the mixed grill. Steak cooked perfectly rare as ordered. Meal was very good and crab cake was excellent.I selected the jambalaya, which is filled with plenty of items and not just a bowl of rice. The portion is on the larger side, and currently I am a tad overweight, so perfect for big boned old guy. A touch of heat at the end of each bite making it even better.A little carrot cake and gluten free chocolate cake to finish it off. Both very good.A little takeaway order of grilled chicken and baked sweet potato for my boy Handsome Sammy. Three point five paws up.Definitely plan to return and begin my little journey through the remainder of the gluten free menu.To round it out, great views as well.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian selections including vegetarian short ribs.Dietary restrictions: Separate gluten free menu with plenty of options.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu including the all time favorite, noodles, butter & cheese“
“We visited for happy hour. Service was ok. The server seemed a bit overwhelmed. We had the garlic cheese bread, bruschetta, and pretzel bites. The food was pretty decent. Pretzel bites could have been cooked a bit longer as they were a little doughy. I would come back again and try other menu items.“
“I've been dreaming of their scallops for 3.5 years now since the last time we came. Food is always impeccable, and the jazz is wonderful. This is one of our few restaurants that you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. Always excellent. Service is wonderful as well.“
