A slice of Paris (which I am very familiar with) in the heart of downtown Savannah. This place (for whatever reason) has definitely stepped it up a notch over the past couple years. Classic French food in a Classic Parisian atmosphere. The cellar, with its wine cellar like vibe is also worth a peek. Dishes are generous and hearty, albeit somewhat expensive. Circa 1875 Bistro offers a slice of Paris in the heart of downtown Savannah. The atmosphere is classic Parisian and intimate, with a cellar that provides a wine cellar vibe for a more private dining experience. The food is amazing and incredibly delicious, with generous and hearty dishes. The escargot alone is worth the trip, and the Steak Frites is the best in the US. Other popular meals include the scallops, the burger, and the fish, all done perfectly with excellent sides. The service is phenomenal, friendly, personable, and attentive to food sensitivities and allergies. The team is extraordinary, and the general manager checks on tables. A beautiful Rose Sancerre and French Rose are recommended drinks. This place has stepped it up a notch over the past couple years and is a must for visitors or locals. It is a great place for date night, a special business dinner, or a celebration.
