We made a reservation for 6:00pm and arrived 10 minutes early. We entered the bar side and the person said "they are very strict about seating at assigned times." He was a bit pretentious when he directed us to the bar to wait for our table. We each ordered a cocktail and 59 minutes later we were seated! I should say that we finished our cocktails and cashed out, asked about our tables, 15 minutes after sitting at the bar. We noticed the dining room was 3/4 empty and asked several times when we would be seated. There was one friendly bartender, and one sleeve tattooed bartender who was rude in his reply: "finish your drink, cash out, and we will get you seated." He never did. We asked a different bartender who eventually retrieved the hostess who collected us and we went to. the dining room. The dining room was still 3/4 empty the entire time and fully staffed. We also noticed that guests who arrived at the dining room door were seated immediately! We couldn't help but think that the restaurant was looking for a way to fill it's bar with people before filling its dining room. We saw one couple leave and then the sleeve tattooed guy making jokes about the fact that he was about to seat them in 30 seconds. So, the food was ok... I felt a little overpriced, but fine. Our server was jovial and attentive, so the lack of stars above wasn't for him, it was for the unfriendly bartender/greeter.

When we lived in Savannah this was our favorite restaurant and we used to go there very often to enjoy the nice confit and the delicious Lyonnaise salad (frisee, poached egg and lardon), however this restaurant is not the same, last time we visited Savannah (02-2024) the salad just changed to a very ordinary one (exactly the pre-made ones that we buy in Publix with a boiled egg! , and very bad and expensive) no mention to the confit that was no longer crisp, but soggy. Definitely something happened at Circa 1875, so we will never return there.

Wonderful experience for our last night of a great week. Food is top notch from bread to dessert. Keegan, our server, was outstanding and elevated a great night to a memorable one.

The ambience was amazing and the food was good, especially their house salad. It was my birthday and there were 6 of us, so a large tab. I had 2 Lemon Drops with dinner. Very tasty drinks! Then, we ordered dessert and they brought me another Lemon Drop stating it was, "compliments of the Chef".. being as it was my birthday and all. BUT, then they charged me for it on the bill! I found that really uncool, dishonest and TACKY. If you're going to charge someone?, then say that and be upfront; don't just say it's free and charge you anyway. It really pissed me off. I don't know if I'd go back, or not. They owe me a Lemon Drop!

10/10 experience on Bastille Day!We had dinner reservations at 6. We arrived early and started with a drink at their bar. Fantastic selection, especially if you're a whiskey drinker! We were promptly seated at our reservation time at a cozy table in the wine cellar. The ambiance was fantastic! We came prepared, we had checked out their special Bastille menu before coming. Our server, Emily, let us know about their other daily specials, too. Let me say, Emily was GREAT! One major thing that made a big difference to me: they offer complimentary shawls for if you are cold. It may have been 100° outside, but it definitely wasn't downstairs. Huge perks there!Back to the food. We tried so much. My friends had been there previously but we went for everything new, except the Escargot, because they insisted I had to try it. THEY WERE RIGHT! I never thought I'd eat snails, boy was I wrong. It was served piping hot, literally bubbling, with garlic and butter and just heaven. My appetizer was their Bastille dessert special, Banana Beignets. Just wow. Vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, bananas, and just scrumptiousness. We also had their Oysters Rockefeller (all the yes!), Lobster Crepes (1.5 lbs of Maine lobster! ?), and the Ribeye (the potatoes that came with it, no words to describe their amazingness)--all from their Bastille menu. We had the jumbo crab cakes, French onion soup, and chocolate mousse from their daily menu. And a delicious snapper from their dinner specials. When I say this was one of my favorite dining experiences, I mean it. I've worked 1 block away for YEARS and I've never made it in. I'm counting down the days until we go back!Again, shout out to Emily for being a terrific host for the night! Thank you!

When we knew where coming to Savannah we knew wanted to eat here. I really wanted the Bouillabaisse but the waitress said" I would steer you to the scallops." I told her I came there just for that dish and she said "I still would go with the scallops. - ok so that's what I got. It sounded like she definitely didn't want me to eat that but she wouldn't tell me why. 5 star French Onion soup - the best I have EVER had! 4 star - I ordered Scallops and mushroom risotto. 4 star only because it really lacked the risotto. There was no much on my plate maybe 1/4 cup. Tons of mushrooms that were outstanding. 2 Star - My husband pray 45 day aged pork chop dish. The pork chop was 4.5 Star but the side dish was awful. It was Brie on top of roasted squash that sat on top whole white beans. I felt like the chef was cleansing out the fridge. Texturally it was horrible and just simply off tasting. 1 star Drinks: were very bad. I think my wine must have been a day old or sat by some hear it was terrible. I tried to get the waitress attention but I could not. The waitress forgot about my husband's beer after we asked her 2 times. We had to interrupt her and get her attention when she showed up at the tale next to us. Very Disappointed. Over all not worth a $150 meal. I was really lookign forward to going here.

Flavors in roasted butternut squash soup, table bread, and the sea bass and scallops entrees were all excellent. Cocktails were unremarkable. Not busy on a Monday night so service was perhaps overly solicitous and the meal went too quickly. This was our first visit to Savannah so I don't know how price compares locally, but it seemed a bit high compared to our expensive hometown comparable restaurant. There is a street sign over their same-named pub next door, but not over the restaurant entrance. The pub staff seemed to think I shouldn't have made such a mistake. Even if he wasn't, French he acted it!

Food- excellent onion soup Boring Cornish Hen but great potato side dish. Striped Bass special just okay. Service-Kentucky waiter was entertaining. Wine- good selection. Ambiance- pleasant French. Overall- don't recommend. Not worth the menu prices. Food should be more elevated.

The food was excellent. The ambience was awful. The tables are too close together. I could barely hear my husband because of the noise. NOT a romantic experience.

Charming bistro style restaurant with excellent food and service. This was our favorite dinner in Savannah and one of the best meals we have enjoyed in a long time. Our server, Marty, was knowledgable, friendly and helpful and made a major contribution to a wonderful evening. The scallops were particularly delicious, and the cocktail was quite special. Wish we had this restaurant in our home town - we would be regulars.

We have had numerous phenomenal experiences here! On 2.26.24, we were married in Savannah and of all the places we could have selected, this is THE Resturant!!! Our meal was perfect and like always, the service is second to none! Thank you for rounding out a magical day with an outstanding experience to end our day!!!!

Second time dining in two months and my new favorite restaurant in Savannah. Sitting inside feels like dining at a real French bistro, the food and wine is amazing *incredible by the glass wines posted on the indoor chalkboard* with rotating specials and wonderful desserts. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable, the ambiance is cheerful and lively, with appropriately chosen (and not too loud) music. We had a few selections, including ratatouille (so flavorful), escargot (overloaded with the tiny, garlicky morsels), the trout filet (buttery soft, perfectly cooked), and profiteroles (OMG) and blood orange créme brulee, truly divine. Many here were celebrating special events but don't wait for one of those to try this neighborhood gem!

Pretentious and poor food. Ordered the Roquefort salad which should be pretty tried and true, completely inedible. The Boullabaise was horrific, basically tasted like seafood in dirty water. Not a good or traditional broth. Bizarre service and horrible experience. Do not recommend.
