Driftaway Cafe is a hidden treasure with a great view of wildlife feeders across the creek. The scallops are large and seafood was delicious along with brunch. Fried green tomatoes were delicious, and the shrimp and grits and scallop pasta are also tasty. The atmosphere is delightful; servers are fast and efficient, and the service was amazing. Girls were hustling. Guests eat in the back by the windows, watching birds and turtles. Outdoor seating has tree shade and is pet friendly. A nice bar with big TVs offers games. Inside, decorations are pretty, and cheese curds and Caesar salad start the meal. Food is pricey but good, and the whole place is beautiful—an ideal spot for every vacation.
