Stopped here with a tour and was thoroughly surprised by how good the food was.Though seafood is their specialty the Cuban sandwich was calling my name and after reassurance from the waitress I ordered it and I'm glad I got it.The meat was so tender and not too salty like a lot of places. The homemade chips were nice and crispy.The fried oyster sandwich has the perfect fry.

I ordered the grilled fish sandwich, which was perfectly cooked and a very good portion. I also ordered the crab stew which was awesome. The server brought it out quickly and my wife and I were able to share before the rest of the order came out. I don't know what could improve!

Only came here once while visiting Savanah because I heard from multiple sources that they had great food... and they didn't disappoint. Everything in my meal and the bits I was able to steal from my family's meals was delicious. Service and atmosphere was stellar, and I would definitely be a frequent customer if I lived closer.

We had lunch at Driftaway today. The last time I had it to go, it was fine. This time wasn't the case. My wife's crab soup was watery and thin. I had the f8ah sandwich, which had no seasoning even though it was blackened. My potatoes in my potato salad wasnt done all the way as well.The service was all that great. We had to stand at a dirty table before the waitress sat us at a clean one. She wasn't very attentative, though it wasn5 crowded. Also, the waitress told one of the Cooks she didn't get a tip. Which tips are given for good service and aren't mandatory. And from there after we left, the cook called an associate and had that person to ask why we didn't leave a tip for the waitress. That's not professional at. I can honestly say I won't be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed our appetizers of crab dip and fried green tomatoes. 4 of us enjoyed our dinners of a Blackened Grouper sandwich, Fire creacker shrimp - minus the hot sauce, Fish & Chips & the Parmesan Grouper topped with grilled shrimp over asparagus & red potatoes. It was all excellent! Grouper, fish and shrimp were cooked perfect. Awesome! Can’t wait to go back!
