Let me tell yall about some good home cooking in Savannah. We’ve been cooped up in this hospital getting little man better from his sickness. Tonight we ordered dinner delivery from Sisters of the New South Restaurant. I ordered beef liver over rice and onions collards and green beans. Its been years since I ate here and my last experience was horrible and that was over 6yr ago I ate here 2/13/2026 and back 2/14/2026 the food was delicious the oxtail was amazing and the hamburger steak was delicious the banana pudding was delicious
I got take out last night. We ordered online. When we got there it was not ready. We waited an extra 20 or 25 minutes for the fried chicken. When we got home, they had given us dark meat instead of white. The right thing to do would have been to tell us they were out of white meat and try to offer something else. Instead we got home and discovered this. I don’t eat dark meat, so I only had sides for dinner. This is not the way to treat customers if you expect them to come back!
