Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria

Our server was amazing. Food was mediocre at best. Crowded. Focaccia bread was soggy. Pizza was floppy. Faces were extremely friendly but the food could use a makeover. I’m sorry, but just because you identify as a New York Italian food, doesn’t mean you’re right about it. I’ll try it again, but I’m not very optimistic.

We've been coming here for years and the food is excellent but they took the tablecloths and lighting above the bar away which gave the place so much character! Please bring it back, atmosphere in a restaurant is so much of the dining experience!

A smart woman we ran into at the pool told us this is her favorite pizza on the island. It was delicious! Shared a very tasty Caprese salad, splurged on the peanut butter White Russian and devoured a classic pizza. Little bit hard to find on Google maps so use your eyes ?

The best pizza ever!!!

The thousand reviews are right - Sal's neighborhood pizza is a slice of home. A quaint atmosphere with pizza makers right at the bar. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan which was I was told one of their best dishes. The chicken was cooked perfectly - still juicy and incredibly tender. There are no personal pizzas but that is perhaps better due to how busy this location gets. I'll come back for the pizza and a seafood dish.

Vegetarian options: Like with most Italian restaurants, there are vegetarian options such as egg plant and other pasta dishes, not to mention their pizzas which have a wide variety.

Been here once a month for 3 months. Great little place! Pizza is always fantastic and service too. They serve other Italian food as well, and have a nice little bar. I've only had the pizza, but the other dishes look good as they pass by. The crowd is never rowdy, it's a family oriented place with indoor and outdoor seating.

Good pizza, meatballs, pasta, and tiramisu! Seating and parking isn’t the very good depending on what time you go.

Pizza was ok, not great. Not a lot of toppings. Salads were made with slimy lettuce and cucumbers. There was also a 15% hostess tip reflected on our receipt. A bit presumptuous for packing up sub par food.

Aweful!!!! Very Limited Seating. Rude Staff. Went To The Mellow Mushroom Instead. So Glad We Did. Mellow Mushroom Is Our Pizza Place When We Visit The Island ❤️

Waited an hour. Then told 20 more min to be seated. Then told oh maybe another hour to be seated. They were seating people left and right. The hostess did not even care that we where a party of 6 that live here on Island. Shame on this establishment.

Sweet little Italian spot with amazing food! It’s definitely a busy place and not a lot of seating, but it is so worth it. They also have a takeout window if you want to walk up and get it to go. Parking around back and on the side. Definitely recommend cheese pizza, spaghetti and meatballs and the bruschetta. Heats up well the next day too!
