me and my husband visit st simon’s every year but have never been here to eat, came in tonight for the first time and we will be back!
we sat at the bar and the bartender was sooo sweet! pizza guys were having a blast and laughing and made it fun. the manager on staff was also so sweet.
we got the garlic cheese bread (wonderful) meatballs (great) and a large Margarita pizza (it was the best!) atmosphere was so awesome!

I’ve lived here 3 years and never eaten at Sal’s despite hearing nothing but great reports. My wife and I got the Deluxe and it was amazing. Truly, the best pizza I’ve had on the island. Kaylee served us at the bar and was wonderful.

Great family experience. Anita was our server, and was amazing with our children.
The cheesy bread was a great choice for an appetizer. Loved the pizza- great undercarriage. Everyone in the family loved it. Inside is small but they do have an outdoor patio.

One of the best eggplant parm’s I’ve had in a long time! The pizza was delicious too! Highly recommended… a hidden gem.

Everything about this place is amazing. We visited from Augusta and wanted something that wasn’t seafood despite being in a beach town. On the hotel brochure was an advertisement for Sal’s and WOW! I can see why this restaurant is so highly rated, from the food to the servers to the cooks. We walked in around 8:15 and ordered by 8:30. We were informed that there would be a slight wait as everything is made fresh. Our food came out steaming hot, and stayed that way all the way until we decided to get to-go boxes. Everyone in the restaurant seemed lively! The atmosphere was very family friendly and everyone’s dishes looked amazing. (Very nosey, I know). Kaley, Ashley, and Dixie made the experience top-notch for us. You can really tell when the staff enjoys their job and enjoys their coworkers. Despite coming in late, we were never rushed. I got the 2 meatball entree that came with a portion of spaghetti larger than my head. My partner got the Salzone and he absolutely loved it! We loved the assortment of topping available for pizza/salzones. My only complaint is that I wish we lived in the area!

You will forget you're at the beach, in Georgia or any place other than Sal's after just a few minutes here, what a great atmosphere. Our pizza was fantastic and the cheesecake was to die for!

Update: Sal's is my favorite pizza place anywhere in the country.

We knew that this was a wonderful gem when we were in the area two years ago. Didn't get to stop by then but sure glad that we were able to this time. The pizza is authentic with a nice crust on the bottom. They do allow you to mix the pizza type in case your significant other is not craving the same type of pizza.

The pomodoro sauce was velvety with a beautiful savory finish (you can put it on anything) add some dry italian oregano and grated parmesan then you will be set.

The drinks were on point as well! They don't hold punches. That is great because why not when out enjoying yourself.

Overall, this is a great place to unwind and socialize. You won't be disappointed. Bon Appetit

Average at best. Food was good but more Olive Garden than local Italian. Service was friendly but not attentive. Very crowded dining room with tables that are far too close together.
