Service good and great atmosphere. Really busy, so if a few, I would book.
Pizzas are a BiG Draw

Sal’s is probably the best pizza I’ve ever had. I get one pizza when I’m at St Simons. Then I get a second pizza the night before I leave to bring home with me!

Order early as they sell out!!

Waited for 50 minutes for a pizza, waitress barely acknowledged when asked the said the kitchen made a mistake. Manager brought out the order didn’t even acknowledge. Paid the bill asked for a box, the pizza fell off the table, waitress walked by and went back inside. Spoke to the manager about the wait and what happened,,was told I have no idea how long it takes for guests food, seems like that is your job. Horrible customer service.

The pizzas are delicious, the staff is friendly, this is important, and the cocktails are also enjoyable.

Really enjoyed the pizza and service! Cute little place with great food! Definitely would recommend it!

The pizzas we had were pretty good. We had a very very friendly waitress. We ate out on the patio.

Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria serves some of the best New York style thin-crust pizza I’ve ever had. The crust is soft but with a oven-baked richness, and the cheese and toppings merge together beautifully (whether good old fashioned cheese or a specialty pizza like their “Meaty Treaty,” you can’t go wrong). Don’t overlook the entrees! The Baked Ziti is to die for. I don’t know what magic they put in their house made sauce blend but it keeps me coming back for more. End things off with a delicious dessert (Italian Lemon Cake was fabulous!). The interior is a bit tight, but they also have outdoor seating available. It’s a must-eat spot at St. Simon’s!

Perfect little Italian joint! We have been a few times. Pizza is ALWAYS great. We love to try their specials. Recently had meatball mozzarella skewers as an app that were amazing! And a pesto gnocchi that was incredible! Service is always wonderful. It's tiny and pretty tight quarters but it is the perfect little spot for great Italian food!

Our server was amazing. Food was mediocre at best. Crowded. Focaccia bread was soggy. Pizza was floppy. Faces were extremely friendly but the food could use a makeover. I’m sorry, but just because you identify as a New York Italian food, doesn’t mean you’re right about it. I’ll try it again, but I’m not very optimistic.

We've been coming here for years and the food is excellent but they took the tablecloths and lighting above the bar away which gave the place so much character! Please bring it back, atmosphere in a restaurant is so much of the dining experience!

A smart woman we ran into at the pool told us this is her favorite pizza on the island. It was delicious! Shared a very tasty Caprese salad, splurged on the peanut butter White Russian and devoured a classic pizza. Little bit hard to find on Google maps so use your eyes ?

The best pizza ever!!!

The thousand reviews are right - Sal's neighborhood pizza is a slice of home. A quaint atmosphere with pizza makers right at the bar. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan which was I was told one of their best dishes. The chicken was cooked perfectly - still juicy and incredibly tender. There are no personal pizzas but that is perhaps better due to how busy this location gets. I'll come back for the pizza and a seafood dish.

Vegetarian options: Like with most Italian restaurants, there are vegetarian options such as egg plant and other pasta dishes, not to mention their pizzas which have a wide variety.
