I cannot comment on the rooms because we didn’t stay there. We went there because we heard that it was a really great place and they had live music playing. It was excellent. The service was excellent. The people were super nice. The atmosphere is very quaint and cute. I would highly recommend going for the evening For drinks. It is right in the village so it’s easy to find parking and it’s easy to walk to if you go someplace else for dinner first

Nearby activities: You are in the village at Saint Simons so there is a lot to do around the area; library parks, swimming pool, trolleys bicycle rides, restaurants, shops, etc.

Walkability: It’s located in the village, so there is tons of shops and restaurants that you can walk to.

Food and drinks: Espresso martinis were very good and the prices are reasonable for the drinks. I don’t think they serve food.

An excellent experience all around! My wife & I traveled here for a wedding. The room was clean, comfortable, and had excellent air conditioning. Parking & breakfast included is a very nice touch. Staff all around is incredibly friendly! We accidentally left our family iPad and the hotel called us immediately when it was discovered. They shipped the iPad directly to our home. Now that’s customer service!

The location was nice. Walking distance to the pier, shops and restaurants. The pool was cute and very clean but lots of acorns falling in it. Room 201 was very clean, with a fantastic bed and bedding. We had a private balcony and were far away from the pub which is as a local watering hole with live music. The rooms were serviced perfectly but the pub staff and local pub patrons seemed annoyed to have a large group of “out of towners” enjoying happy hour.

Cute and charming and close to all the delightful shopping and dining on St. Simons Island. HOWEVER, if you are at all sensitive to chemicals and artificial fragrances, beware. They use Fabuloso on their floors and spray some other chemical fragrance in the rooms. It was unbearable for me. I had a constant headache and felt tight in the chest. They brought me an air filter, but it didn't clear the air one bit. They were not pleasant, sympathetic, or at all understanding. They really didn't care. Sadly, as cute as the place is, I can't go back.

The good: rooms are well thought out with lots of care and attention to detail, with lots of little thoughtful items. As I had service dogs, they moved me to another room which is their "pet room". Which was larger than the original room so no complaints there. Location was close to many restaurants, and .25 mile to the park, courts, and dog park.

The bad: they charge a $20 daily amenity fee, which is not disclosed during the booking or check in process, and when questioned, it's for "the wifi, breakfast, parking, robes, coffee maker, etc" which all of those items are either distinctly stated as complimentary on their website, or included in the room description, implying included in the room cost. When confronted, they stated they would not be refunding it. I am awaiting a call back from the manager as the Assistant Manager is unwilling to fix this issue.

The service while I was there was good, but I was disappointed in how they're inflating their rates through this amenity fee, that was then taxed. You cannot state that something is complimentary then charge a fee for it, that's false advertising and dishonest business practice.

Due to Helene's long range impacts, the wifi was unreliable (regularly didn't work at all) and my Verizon cell reception was at best 1 bar.

This is the cutest little inn! We came up from Orlando to avoid hurricane Milton and we just stumbled across this place.

It is so quaint and beautiful! Angie at the front desk was very helpful and the rooms were super clean! It’s a short walk to the pier and lots of restaurants.

I highly recommend staying here! We hope to come back soon!

Love everything at the Village Pub...friendly staff, clean nicely decorated rooms, entertainment and yet very quiet and peaceful. Thank you for being so accommodating during the storm. Looking forward to coming back soon!

Nearby activities: Plenty of shops for daytime... Close to various restaurants... And late evening bars, besides theirs! All walking distance!

We stayed and was amazed how much thought and love was put into this place. Great atmosphere and rooms that are welcoming and cozy. This adult only stay is walking distance to local food, shops, and peer. We will be coming back as soon as we can!

This was a wonderful hotel. The rooms are lovely with extremely comfortable beds. All the rooms have a balcony. The robes in the room along with the slippers were wonderful, and chocolates on the pillows were a great added touch. The hotel has a pool, and the continental breakfast is more than that. Options included during our stay were sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits, quiche, cereal, muffins, and more. Everything that you need is within walking distance, including the lighthouse and pier. The pub has a happy hour from 3 pm to 7 pm and live music on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Unfortunately, there was a small storm upon our arrival, which made the pool unusable for a couple of days.

Our room was beautifully decorated, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was warm and friendly. We enjoyed the live music, but didn't stay as long as we'd planned because seating is very limited in thr evenings. The location is perfect for walking to Neptune Park, the pier, lighthouse, and some of my very favorite shops and restaurants on St. Simon's.
