We had high hopes for Wolf Island Oyster Co., but the experience was a bit lackluster. We made reservations and arrived 10 minutes early, were seated promptly at our reserved time, immediately greeted by our server and then proceeded to wait 30 minutes just to get our drink order, including water. When the raw oysters arrived, they were missing the horseradish and cocktail sauce that was listed on the menu. It took another 20 minutes to get those, which was frustrating.

We had a good server and a good meal and we enjoyed it very much. I was disappointed with the double burger though. It definitely seemed just like those frozen patties you get from the frozen section of the grocery store. Asking for a rare burger in this case is absolutely useless. The live music was lovely, and we did have a nice experience

The service and atmosphere are great. I like that all the tables have traditional white linens, it kind of justifies the price point of the restaurant. However it's disappointing when an oyster place is out of most of the different type of oysters that they advertise. I feel like this should be the first thing they say whenever you walk into the door
