This place is outstanding. It's not an upscale atmosphere but often that's where you find some of the best food. The fried green tomatoes w/ homemade pimento cheese are so crunchy right out of the fryer. I've had the regular hamburger, smashburger, cheesesteak and tuna melt. It is all fantastic. The homemade onion rings and hand cut fries should be eaten by all. For high quality food at a reasonable price in a highly competitive environment, this place is hard to beat.

After a trolley tour, driver directed us to Zuzu’s for a late lunch. Menu had plenty of choices and very reasonably priced. I started with a Tito’s and lemonade, beer & wine also available. Egg salad sandwich is hard to find unless in your home kitchen so I gave it a whirl. Toasted sourdough (whole wheat also available) and a generous portion of salad served with a bag of Lays potato chips (other side options include incredible onion rings) made for a delicious lunch. My husband’s burger with Swiss was huge and he didn’t share his onion rings- I don’t blame him! They also have at least 8 flavors of hard-packed hand-scooped ice cream. Don’t pass this little place up, especially if you are near the pier.

Stopped in for a black and bleu burger with home cut fries and was blown away! (And full.) the burger was juicy and the toppings were generous; the fries reminded me of childhood; the hand cut option was a nod to the old days and I savored each bite! Great location at the foot of the Saint Simons Pier. Also loved the retro interior design, staff was very accommodating, friendly, and upbeat!

We are visiting from Central Florida. Stopped in for lunch and had a Fried Green Tomato burger. Excellennt flavor, cooked perfect. We also had the sweet thai chicken fingers. They were some of the best we have had. We will definitely come back the next time we visit the area.

Burgers are 1/2 pound. Wings are on the large side. Pricing is very reasonable for the portions and quality. Deserts available are abundant with shakes, pies, ice cream. You can walk it off afterwards with a stroll on the pier and Neptune Park. Highly recommend ZuZu’s. Kiddie menu is available
