You get a a very nice meal at a reasonable price. We also like that they take reservations and have their own large parking lot! Very few places in Sandy Springs have either! We tried to make a reservation 4 days in advance and nothing was available so make sure to plan wayyyyyyy ahead- it's a popular spot! Jennifer Ramos behind the bar was lovely; she's good company and provided great service even tho she was super busy. We enjoyed the hummus app, he had lamb, and I had the sirloin. All delicious and very flavorful with quick service. You can skip dessert tho, it was very whatever. Will return!“

“Our inaugural visit was last week (September 26). Upon entering, we were immediately and warmly greeted by Yusra. We explained it was our first visit, and she took time to explain the menu to us. The choices were plentiful, and it took a few minutes to decide. We all chose the Chicken Shawarma Plate with various sides. Each bite was more delicious than the previous. Once we ordered, our food was prepared fresh by Sam and delivered to our table. Our meals were delicious, plentiful and very good tasting. Yusra checked on us during our meal as she interacted with other guests. The prices were very reasonable, and we left with a promise that next time we are in Alpharetta, we will be back. “Small simple restaurant that provides exactly what it says, and with that sauce it's a great combination. I recommend the mixed cause you get a lil meaty bite and a nice savory crunch with the falafel. I'd come here again since it's affordable and satisfying. I would not recommend the baklava though unless you're into denser desserts. As you can see by the picture, I enjoyed myself to the fullest“

“I found this gem back in 2012 when they were at a different location. I thought we lost them due to the covid shut downs hurting so many small businesses. “Hovan is hands down one of my favorite lunch spots in Atlanta. It never disappoints. Somehow they make a basic Greek salad stand out—I can’t explain it, but they do. The cauliflower is simple yet incredible. And their beef/lamb shawarma? That’s my go-to. It’s hard to order anything else.

What I love most is that it feels healthy without sacrificing flavor. Nothing deep-fried or greasy. just real, quality food done right.

The owner is the heart of the place. It’s rare to find spots where the adorable, grandpa like welcoming owner is still everyone’s favorite, but he is. Warm, always smiling, putting a little extra love into each plate. You can tell he genuinely cares about every customer who walks through the door.

10/10, easily one of the best lunch spots in the city. If I don’t have a specific craving, Hovan is my default.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​“

“I wasn’t familiar with any of the food on the menu prior to coming here but I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve gotten so far. Nice flavored meat and light crispy crust, fresh salad. Friendly attentive service and I got my food quickly. The atmosphere inside has nice decoration. I like to sit outside so last time I came I walked my food over to Jacob’s Java and ate my food with a coffee at Mr. Marc’s lovely patio. Good stuff!“

“First-time visit, and I’m already a fan! Cafe Sababa offers a cozy café-style ambiance with cool, laid-back vibes — perfect for enjoying a flavorful Mediterranean meal.

Upon walking in, you place your order at the register. If the team is in the back (as they were when I arrived), there’s a little bell to ring for assistance — a nice touch that keeps things flowing.

After browsing the menu, I went with the chicken platter, which came with creamy hummus, a fresh salad, and warm, soft pita bread. I also added a side of chickpea curry soup, and let me tell you — the portion was generous, served hot, and packed with flavor.

Everything tasted fresh, filling, and well-seasoned. The prices were more than fair, and to top it off, bottled water was just $0.50. That’s rare these days!

This family-style Mediterranean spot is a solid yes for me. I felt welcomed, comfortable, and left full and satisfied. Definitely adding Cafe Sababa to my go-to list.“

I've lived in Atlanta for five years and I must say..Toco Grill hands down makes the best burger in all of Atlanta (I've been to every hotspot recommended to me.) This is hands down one of my favorite restaurants in the Atlanta metro area. The food is amazing, made with care and love by the owner. My go-to order is the mixed gyro and shawarma plate with rice and adding some hot sauce. It’s the best shawarma and gyro that I’ve had in town, and Manna’s sauces are amazing. Plus, each plate is basically 2 meals for me, which makes the cost more efficient.

“Pulled over because I was running errands during my lunch break. Best decision I made all day. I got the spicy lamb gyro and it was delicious, warm, and packed with a lot of meat. It wasn't even that spicy as I had to ask before ordering it spicy because I love spicy food but a lot of places over do it . The nice lady at the window told me it wasn't that spicy and I went for it, brought it back to work and devoured it. I got one for my coworker and I was about to eat his because it was SOOO good. A little far from where I work but definitely worth the drive.“

“Chelo!!!! I am in love!!!! The beautiful dining room would have most likely had me coming back for a drink at a minimum.....Then I experienced the service and the food. I will be a regular. From the valet greeting us and being so kind and helpful, to the hostess, server, runners, bar staff....wow!!!!! It is very hard to go to a restaurant and find great staff everywhere you turn. Here you do! If you read any of my reviews....I am usually pretty detailed about my service experience. I think it makes or breaks the experience. Let's face it, dining out is expensive.....we have a choice where we spend our entertainment dollars. Chose Chelo! They will wow you! The food was also 5 stars. We dined on the falafel and cauliflower appetizers - both outstanding. I had the chicken kabab with saffron rice. Very very good as well. The rice will be in my thoughts for a while....so good!
