As someone who cares a lot about the value of my dollar when it comes to meals, the omakase here is nothing short of showstopping. It is worth the splurge for a special occasion. I’ve had the omakase standard on one occasion and have also dined here without the omakase. I believe their omakase courses can also be ordered a la carte off the menu, so if you don’t want a full omakase meal, you can pick and choose some of them along with other small plates. I really appreciate that as sometimes I’m not hungry enough for a whole omakase tasting menu, or if I’m not looking to spend over $150 on a normal night.

Wow!! Incredible Night of Contemporary Omikase.Super-premium fish flown in from Japan. Visually Beautiful Presentation. Excellent Service. And because it is contemporary, I must add the the creativity of the chef in blending and melding different flavor profiles to achieve the mouth feel and taste he was looking for was done to perfection and nothing was over-the-top.If you are worried that this is not traditional Japanese omikase, don’t worry. You are not in Osaka or Tokyo. You will never get the freshness of the fish they have in Japan. Instead, NoriFish has the same ingredients as its Buckhead competitors, but adds the excitement of pushing the boundaries ever so slightly on traditional sushi-ya. The outcome is a taste and sight to behold.Lastly, I’m not a big-ticket restaurant connoisseur because I have a culinary background and do most of my own cooking. But, I did NOT regret shelling out the $165 for the Premium Omakase because I felt it was a fair price for a superb meal, which presented really well and was superbly delicious.Very impressed.

Out of the multitude of amazing things I want to say, I will concisely summarize my experience by simply stating: WOW! I really enjoyed the courses and unique style of flavor combinations and presentation. The atmosphere rocked especially thanks to Calvin being so present and affable and genuine. Clearly everyone at Norifish is passionate about offering a proper dining experience from top to bottom and everything in between.

This is the worst sushi restaurant ever we have visited around Georgia. A NO for your consideration to visit this restaurant. It was our anniversary so my loved one wanted to create something special for us. The restaurant was chosen with a reservation of Omakase for 2 person. But the bad experience ruined our night. We believe we are deceived by this restaurant's marketing strategies. As we've learned from previous omakase restaurants, customer will be seated close to the chef, interaction happens when the chef prepares the food. This is part of what makes omakase special. However, there is no such thing during our dining at this restaurant. We were seated at the last table in the row, by the window.Under the dim light, and noise, the server brought the food in and began speaking out names of each sushi from left to right, right to left. That's it! If we don't order omakase, what else can we - your customers hear from your server and service?- Portion: Small servings. We're still hungry after leaving the restaurant. They were so small that we didn't have a chance to appreciate the flavor of the fish that they are proud of.- We ate sushi with oiled wasabi and pepper: Instead of soy sauce, they served a little bowl of oiled pepper and wasabi. To me, it's just chopped long green pepper and wasabi stir-fried in oil with a little salt and sugar. It was introduced to improve sushi flavor. We put the oil on the top of the sushi and eat. So, after all, we can only taste the oil in sushi.Yes, with omakase, the customer trusts the chef. However, we were betrayed! The chef's lack of nutrition knowledge is reflected in this "creative" oil bowl. Gastric issues caused by a combination of oil, strong spices, and raw food. Moreover, when serving such oily food with ice water, both the chef and the restaurant owners demonstrate a lack of knowledge of the Asian cultural aspects of ying and yang.- It took us nearly 2 hours for such Omakase course. We spent our time just to wait for dishes to be served. It seemed forever to us, I was so hungry that I ate the oil wasabi instead. And to my surprise, when we asked for another wasabi bowl, the server said that it will be extra charged. I did not remember exactly, it was around $2.5 or $3 for that little bowl. We were still ok with it.- After we completed the tiny matcha ice cream, we received our receipt and found something wrong. Our server and chef didn't even realize they had missed one of the dishes. They charged us the full price. In their dim light restaurant, we had to read the receipt and menu again to assist them figure out what was missing.Ridiculously, we closed out everything with a matcha ice cream, but when they found out their mistake, they brought out the missing dish, and we, their customers must start over our night, wasted our time once more!We left the restaurant with bad experience ever on our special day.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at NoriFish for their Omakase experience for the first time, and it was truly a culinary delight. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was impressed by the relaxing atmosphere that set the tone for a wonderful evening. The star of the show was undoubtedly the food. The quality of the sushi was exceptional, and it was evident that the chefs at NoriFish take great pride in using fresh and top-notch ingredients, including fish flown in from the Toyosu Fish Market (Japan). Each piece of sushi was a work of art, showcasing a perfect balance of flavors and textures. The Omakase menu provided a diverse and exciting journey through various tastes and presentations. The service at NoriFish was another aspect of my dining experience that stood out. The server went above and beyond, meticulously explaining each dish as it was served. This added a personal touch to the meal, enhancing my appreciation for the craftsmanship that went into each creation. The staff's attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for the cuisine created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere.Whether you're a sushi connoisseur or a first-timer, NoriFish provides a setting that allows you to fully appreciate the artistry of Japanese cuisine!

I had the omakase with 14 pieces. Everything was great. Extremely fresh fish. This is probably the best sushi I've had in a while. I have one other omakase restaurant that I love and NoriFish is definitely a tie for the best. The atmosphere is nice for a date night. The staff was friendly and our waitress made recommendations for my date that didn't eat raw fish. He really enjoyed his food as well.Pictures only reflect the small plates that come at the end of your omakase meal. The dessert was yummy as well. Definitely going back soon.

Was in town for the holidays. Did the premium omakase for 3 people celebrating a birthday. Staff service is impeccable. I felt like it was the perfect amount of attention. They didn't hover either. Ambience was chic modern. Please get a bar seating to watch all the action. Food: the omakase is guaranteed to fill you up. I thought I'd be unsatisfied or hungry but damn they fill you up. All the pieces were amazing. It was a first experience with omakase for 2 people and they were blown away. This place is seasoned omakase approved and newbie approved.Only drawback was it was a cashless establishment. I had tons of cash to blow and couldn't but it def wasn't a negative it was only worth noting. Can't wait to come back here!

What a revelation! Went there for an anniversary dinner with my wife and somehow had the restaurant to ourselves after a few patrons left shortly after we arrived. Vibe is polished and sharp with clean black lines and focused lighting by the sushi bar which clearly was meant to draw the eye to the sushi being prepared. We did the Omakase and it was one of the few times that I can say that everything absolutely hit the mark. My wife and I left pleasantly full and very happy, both with the price point, service, ambience and the quality of the food.If you are purely into traditional omakase, this may not suit your palate completely as each piece of nigiri is more modern and crafted. But that serves as more of a guidance than a detraction. I can't recommend this place enough. Wife and I will be back in the future.
