We usually go for the Sashimi Five and Soba Noodle Soup whenever we dine at Taka Sushi, and they never disappoint! 🥢 The sashimi is always fresh, beautifully plated, and melts in your mouth — a true showcase of the chef's precision and care. The soba noodle soup, on the other hand, is comforting and perfectly balanced, with just the right depth of flavor. Together, they make a light yet satisfying meal that feels indulgent and wholesome. 🍣✨ Low carb, high protein, and absolutely delicious — healthy eating never tasted this good!
Such a gem. Freshest sushi and beautiful presentation. No fancy cocktails but good wine list and top shelf liquors. Always solid meal.
Delicious and fresh and creative. Great neighborhood sushi place but also worth the drive for authentic Japanese food. Lovely patio and great service. Definitely would recommend and return!
A neighborhood gem if you love high quality sushi at realistic prices! We love this restaurant!
We love Taka. The food is always fresh and expertly prepared. From the sushi to the rolls to the tempura to the calamari everything was excellent. As always the service is warm and very efficient. We highly recommend Taka.

Food was good. However the sashimi portions are EXTREMELY SMALL AND PRICY
order other food not sushi.
Stopped in for dinner. Had a reservation for three. Table was ready for us but were only given two menus for a party of three. Ordered some appetizers and nigiri. Nigiri was kind of small for the price. Excellent desserts.

Horrible. Ordered a couple of nigiri and waited well over 30 minutes. When I asked what was taking so long, since many people who had arrived well after us were getting their orders I was told that nigiri was a very specialized thing to prepare and takes a long time. Please, it's a small amount of rice with a piece of raw fish on top. There were large sushi platters going out which had way more detail than a few piece of nigiri to people who had ordered after us. Badly handled by the server who basically didn't really care and even worse the manager didn't bother to come over to us and apologize. I like to support local businesses but I won't be going back. We got up and left hungry. They also had a broken toilet which a plumber was fixing right in the middle of dinner service hours... and we were seated right by the toilets even after booking a table well in advance. Sorry not acceptable.
Best sushi and service in ATL! Always my first choice and they consistently deliver excellence.

Omg, Novi was our server. The entire staff was nice. They have a great selection of wine. The white fish cheeks are amazing. The Sushi is amazing as well.

Fresh and delicious sushi! Even made us something we requested that wasn't on the menu that night. Service was fantastic too.
Our favorite sushi spot in Atlanta—hands down. The fish is always fresh, the service is warm and consistent, and the ambiance makes every visit special. Plus, their wine selection is not only impressive but also the best-priced in the city. A true hidden gem!

Love Taka! The best scallop sushi in town. Plus they have a great wine selection that is very reasonably priced.
