I’d always come here whenever I felt like I needed a good sub for a taste of home or some comfort food and it never disappointed. I didn’t even come in that often, and the workers remembered me and even what some of my favorites were. They are so pleasant and wonderful that it’s a joy to come in anytime. My only real complaint is they close on the weekends and close around 4 pm. But a great place to grab a sandwich if you want one. Good variety, great food, great service. My personal favorites being the Cuzin’ Vinnie which is an Italian Sub and the Roy Rodgers. Definitely check it out

A sandwich shop has no business being this friendly. These are the nicest people you can imagine. They treat you like you are in their home.

On top of that, the food was great. I wish I had tried more things but I do know that the Southern Gobbler, a delicious take on a turkey club, is amazing. It’s huge and the bread is fantastic. More importantly the bacon is some of the best I’ve ever had on a sandwich.

If I lived near by, I’d gatekeep this place, but I’m from out of state so I’m not afraid to tell everyone they should go.

Unfortunately our experience at Anita’s was very disappointing. We arrived 25 minutes before closing, only to be told that they had already put the food items away. They were then extremely put out while taking our order and treated us rudely, acting as though we were highly inconveniencing them. There is a sign on the outside of the building about southern hospitality and leaving with a smile - that wasn’t our experience.

We were looking for something quick to eat as we were waiting for our hotel check in, and we happened to find this little hole in the wall deli shop. One of the best sandwiches I've ever had! I ordered the Judge and my husband got the Cuzin Vinnie. We both agreed the Judge was our favorite! The staff was very friendly as well.

By far the BEST breakfast sandwich in Savannah. Drink, sandwich and bag of chips cost me $12. Anita and her crew are the kindest people! I HIGHLY recommend this place!

I just had one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Located in a tiny building tucked away on the west side in the Savannah Historic District (348 Jefferson St., caddy-corner to the Crystal Beer Parlor), I was able to watch a team of three (owner and 2 younger guys) craft, and I do mean craft, a work of art in sandwich form. We both had the "sandwich of the week", a Monte Cristo, and while not traditional, it was fantastic! The attention to detail, the constant nod to friendly customer service, keeping the food prep area and spotless, and food safety and sanitization was ridiculous! In an age of slipping QC, shortcuts and cash grabs, this was an amazing experience. I can't recommend it more if you're in Savannah!

Anita Deli Sandwich has instantly become a spot we adore! The sandwiches were incredibly fresh, bursting with flavor, and made with top-quality ingredients. You can truly taste the difference. The service was outstanding — the team was so welcoming and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable. We loved chatting with the owners, who clearly care deeply about their business and customers. Their passion shows in every aspect of the deli. We’re already planning to make this a regular spot! Highly recommend Anita Deli Sandwich for anyone looking for an amazing meal and a warm, friendly atmosphere!
