Auspicious Baking Company

Everyone talks about this place of how amazing it is. Everything, was excellent except the cinnamon bun. It had only been scantily applied with cinnamon, which was very disappointing. They supply many restaurants in Savannah with their baked goods. We have never been disappointed with getting their goods at other places. Just one poor execution of a cinnamon roll, hence the 4 stars instead of 5.

Got a recommendation to come here from an acquaintance & I’m so insanely glad we took the advice! This place is incredible, the butter croissants are perfect, the chocolate croissants were super rich but the churro croissant was absolutely unreal. Got there around 10am & all of the turkey croissants were sold out though so I’ll need to come earlier to get my hands on one! Staff was super nice & the merch was also really cute

With two locations in the Savannah area this is a must stop. They have vegan and non vegan breakfast breads and whole loaves with the menu rotating on different days of the week as well as seasonal. I asked for a vegan chocolate croissant and maple glazed cinnamon rolls. They asked if I needed them to change gloves and a serving tray. I nearly cried because I do have a new food allergy and for them to think of that made my whole week. I also got one of the best baguettes that I have had in America, it definitely could have been one of the better ones I have had in France. The Vegan Chocolate Croissant had chocolate throughout the roll, not just a shortcut chunk in the center. I don't always like maple glazed items because it can taste too fake after being raised on pure maple syrup but these were lovely. I ordered my box on Saturday morning and kept coming back to the box for items until midday Monday, which for fresh bakery items was pushing it a little on staleness but certain items held up. Next time I am in Savannah I will definitely be there.

My girlfriend and I went to the Whitmarsh location for lunch shortly after it opened. While we did notice the service was slow, we chalked it up to the fact that they had only been open for a week or two. Since we enjoyed the atmosphere and delicious food, we agreed that we wanted to return for a breakfast experience. This morning, we had a reservation for 9:15 AM. After receiving our coffees fairly quickly, we waited on our food. A little over an hour later, our waitress came over to re-confirm what we had ordered earlier. When we realized that our orders still hadn’t been sent to the kitchen, we asked to pay for or coffees and leave. For the record, we do appreciate them comping of coffees and giving us a box of free pastries. However, it still didn’t change the fact that we left this establishment with empty stomachs….after we had looked forward to starting our Saturday with a delicious breakfast. I really wanted to like this place. However, after experiencing a major failure in customer service, I cannot recommend them to anyone who asks me for recommendations.

Best bakery in Savannah!! They crossiant loafs (no matter the flavor) are always excellent! While they're focaccia can be a little tough and chewy every now and then, the flavors they offers are excellent and unique!! ❤️

Such an amazing local bakery. The owners are great, the employees are always friendly, and anything you purchase here will be delicious! Once you have a pastry from them you’ll be hooked!

Everything looks delicious and I plan to place this bakery on my MUST VISIT list.
I got a glance of the business while watching Moonshiners. After viewing the TV episode I researched the bakery and I must say, I would like one of everything!
As stated, EVERYTHING, looks soo delicious, I’m just drooling looking at the photos of the menu.
I hope to visit soon!!

If you’ve never been to auspicious, do yourself a favor and try it. You will not be disappointed. Only complaint is they sell out quick. So go early.
