I went to Auspicious Bakery on March 29, 2024. It was my first time going and our daughter came with me. The line was out the door but moved quickly. It smelled good inside so I was excited. I knew I wanted some bread but there was not much of a variety. I asked for a healthy wheat or grain bread and there was only one. Our daughter and I decided on bagels and a loaf of whole wheat bread. Everyone was very nice. My family and I first tried the sesame and plain bagels. They were hard, not fresh, but tasted ok toasted with cheese and peanut butter. A few days later we tried the whole wheat bread. The crust was hard, again not fresh, but tasted ok with tuna on it. My family and I were disappointed. I had heard good things about the bakery and read good reviews. I will not be returning. Glad the bakery is doing well.

There's always a line, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Even when it's busy, they greet you and thank you for coming in. Towards the end of the afternoon, they start discounting items. I got extra soft pretzels since they were bogo. The red velvet turnover was amazing.

They had vegan croissants, vegan maple buns (their version of cinnamon buns) and a rotating savory pastry made with the same croissant dough. The staff was very nice. They have coffee but disappointingly no plant based milk to go along with it. I thought the pastries were fine but they didn't blow me away. I thought the bread was excellent however! And they also had hummus and other vegan dips and will slice the bread for you. So this is a perfect place to stop by for picnic supplies!

Absolutely love Auspicious!! I have been a customer since they were located in the tiny shop on Skidaway near Derenne. Their bakery items are delicious and they are always coming out with new and unique flavors each week. The staff is always friendly and so welcoming to everyone. Best bakery in town!

I was visiting Savannah and drove 25 minutes outside of the city to stop ay this bakery. The pastries are incredible and it's definitely worth the drive. There aren't really seats inside so I recommend planning to get pastries to go. The service was great and I was in and out in under three minutes.

The pastries and coffee are delicious. As soon as we walked through the doors of Auspicious, we were greeted with a smile & helped in a few seconds. The smell of fresh baked goodness hit the nose within seconds of walking through the door. Visiting this place was such a pleasant treat and we look forward to buying something tomorrow for our road trip back home from vacation.

After hearing non-stop rave reviews about Auspicious, it was finally time we try it! They are located in a small strip mall in Sandfly with plenty of parking out front. I decided to stop in late on a weekend which was a mistake. There were very few pastries to choose from so make sure to go before noon if you would like good options! In addition to baked goods, they had cute little gifts, delicious looking soups and a WONDERFUL chive cream cheese that I had to bring home with me. The cream cheese had so much flavor and officially ruined grocery store bought cream cheese. For sweets I decided on pound cake, red velvet squares, and a coconut croissant. The red velvet squares were huge, tasty and perfectly moist. The coconut croissant was so flaky and basically a coconut macaroon in croissant form - what dreams are made of! Lastly, the pound cake was not to my liking. It was very dry. I am not sure if it had been out for a couple of days or what but I did not eat it. I am looking forward to coming back for yummy treats earlier in the morning and do see what the hype is all about for this place just based on the few items I really enjoyed. Until next time!

Absolutely amazing! We went on a Sunday. When we passed it the line was out the door! to me that is a good sign. When we came back we stopped at 5 Spot Sandfly. Another good choice!!! Anyway, if you go, go early to avoid the line. We got a Coconut Creme Croissant and a Red Velvet cake bar. Sorry about the description I don't remember the full names. OMG! The croissant was out of this world and the coconut was such a marvelous addition!!! The red velvet bar was amazing as well! You have to go out of the way to get to Auspicious Baking Co.!!!

We were recommended Auspicious Baking for vegan options. Coming here it's a small shop and I would say 90% of the store was bakery shop. That's what I liked to see. We had someone with an egg allergy so it was good to know that vegan options were there. I got one of each of the options with the vegan options. The pastries were great! I think they were a little bit dense, but I would have to say that the flavors were there. The croissant still had fluffy bubbles of air inside the bread too as well which I thought was amazing especially with the difficulty without butter. I enjoyed all of their sandwiches. BBQ? Sure, that wasn't bad and I enjoyed it. I thought the Lox sandwich was a bit off. You just can't do lox without having it fresh. If you like salmon, it's a bit different as the salmon is inside the pastry as it's cooked so the salmon that comes out is cooked. Last thing to note, vegan doesn't always mean allergy free. I can see that cross contamination is very possible especially when you're cooking egg products. There's nothing wrong with that, but if you have an allergy, I would just say be careful. Auspicious provides the vegan options (which are great), but if you get a reaction, I would tread very carefully. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend Auspicious if you're looking for a bakery with fresh products.

Very nice, popular local bakery. We are vacationing in Savannah and have visited twice. My husband's favorite is the gluten free maple cinnamon roll. We both like baguettes! Expect a line. Go early for best selections. Not your typical family bakery with a large selection of cakes and cookies. They specialize in croissants. They sell pizza dough and sauce. We haven't tried the pizza dough yet. All of the baked items are very attractive and packed nicely for takeout.

Not really sure what else to say here other than, go! But make sure you hit the line before ~at least~ 11am or else you may have slim pickings due to high demand. Lived in Savannah for almost 2 years before I figured this place out & I have regrets! It's hard to recommend what to get, as you probably can't go wrong with anything you order. My favs so far have been the Everything Bagel Seasoning Croissant (whatever they put inside is magic!) & the Red Velvet Square (pretty sure this is seasonal). I also took one of their Plain Croissants home & made an egg & bacon breakfast sandwich out of it, which did not disappoint. There are some small tables to sit at inside, but the space itself it fairly small. Again, make sure you plan to go early. Or else expect to wait in line and potentially have limited items to choose from. The staff is always friendly, so even if you're impatient from showing up late, they'll cheer you up when you get to the counter!

Popped in just before they closed for the weekend. We grabbed a couple pain de chocolate. They were the perfect snack between museums on Georgia Historical Society Super Museum Sunday!
