First time we have eaten here and we were very impressed with the food and service. Our server Kimble was very helpful and friendly. He made our dinner a great experience. My fried shrimp was some of the best I've ever had.
I would have been able to give a higher rating but it took over an hour for our food to arrive and we had to ask for the drink we ordered after half an hour. Our server apologized but it might have been nice to have had the establishment offer a free dessert or appetizer or something for our long wait.
The staff were professional and helpful. I asked for several substitutions, and it was no problem. I got the salmon and substituted extra asparagus for the cheese grits and the asparagus was done perfectly - nice and warm but still crunchy and flavorful.
