Byrd's Famous Cookies - River Street

Some of the best cookies I’ve ever had.

Just incredible....spent a bit more than I should have but I live COOLERS cookies and had to have PEACH, Key lime and Lemon....I also picked up a bottle of Key lime mango Poppy seed dressing.... stopping at the flagship store is the best and you can try all the cookies FREE! Just do it!

Cookies are absolutely bomb, they have a nice crunch and are the perfect portable snack and the worker is a very nice person. Highly recommended!! ❤️🍪

We stopped into Byrd’s while visiting Savannah and absolutely loved it. The concept is so fun. They have a cookie bar where you can sample different flavors before buying, and you can either purchase prepackaged cookies or hand-pick your own assortment in a box or tin.

The employee working the cookie bar was incredibly sweet and welcoming, offering samples to everyone who came in and making the whole experience feel warm and inviting.

The cookies themselves were delicious, especially the Key Lime Coolers. Those were amazing. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re walking around River Street

Just across the street from HAHA, on East River Street is a wonderful restaurant called Byrds Famous Cookies.

Well….it isn’t exactly a restaurant. However, I found myself in this eatery “just for a few things” that turned into a whole box of cookies.

The almond cookies, the powdered lemon cookies and ginger snaps. There is a wall of delicious 1/2 dollar sized mini cookies.

Byrds famous cookies have a long history. Born and raised in Georgia, it is a great symbol of home grown quality sweets.

Savannah is filled with stories of these self starting businesses with long history. It just Impresses me so much. The depth of this town.

Byrd’s is so “Savannah.” You haven’t tasted this town unless you’ve been to Byrd’s.

Right across from HAHA. Another located down the west end of River Street by the JW. And one next to the Wexford.

Great cookies! I got the 1lb bag of key lime coolers, and they are amazing. Highly recommend stopping by. The person who rang me up was very friendly and gave great recommendations. The building is very well decorated and welcoming. The vibe is good. Next time I'm in Savannah I'm definitely stopping by again.

Lemon cookies are the best !!

Lemon cookies...yum. I bought two 16 oouce bags when I was visiting the downtown Historical Savannah. I ate them in a week lol. I plan to order them online now because I live out of state. Highly recommend them...so good ❤️
