Probably one of the best restaurants I’ve been to in a while!! The service was impeccable (Chris was our server) and the tuna was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. The chicken was so good and tender. Sticky toffee pudding was amazing. My husband and I agreed that we would easily come back next time we’re in Savannah. 10/10.

We enjoyed a great dinner here. The food was fantastic. Our server AJ was sweet and very helpful. I highly recommend the chicken entree, pork dish, squash side, and the s’more’s dessert. We tried a bit of everything and nothing disappointed.

Loved the food and service! This is a fine dining established in a cozy, relaxed environment. Without a doubt you must have the gold rice dish, one of the best things I have tasted in years! The wreck fish is a nice light delicate flavor fish prepared in a tasty sauce. The other dish we shared was a roast pork loin with a serving of pork belly-also very tasty. The wine selection is interesting including a nice cab from Paso Robles for on $62. The menu prices are right in line with a fine dining establishment.

Exciting menu but flavor breadth execution was lacking. (Entrees: Jerk Chicken and NY Strip). Apple crisp was flawless.

Consistently my favorite dinner in Savannah. I cannot recommend the Chef’s tasting menu enough and they do a fabulous job with the wine pairings. AJ, our server tonight, was lovely and wonderful!

This place had been on our bucket list and we treated ourselves to the tasting menu. We give the food a C+. We love trying a variety of creative foods, and this is an example of a restaurant trying too hard. And everything had a sauce to the point of being overly goopy. For a tasting menu, it needed to be more balanced vs. sauce upon sauce upon sauce. Steak wasn’t seasoned properly, either. Excellent service and great atmosphere. Food was not as good as we had hoped.

Common Thread is a epicurean treasure like none other in Savannah. Inside a gorgeous historic mansion, the Common Thread team goes right to work delivering a wonderful experience from the moment you step in the front door. Our server Dust was so wonderful and accommodating. Each course was artfully presented and executed with delicious precision that makes you close your eyes and savor each bite like a kiss. There are many restaurants in Savannah and Common Thread stands out as a true culinary cathedral. Make your reservation. You wont regret it.

During our week long stay we went to an insane amount of restaurants in Savannah and Common Thread remained in the top best meals we had overall. It wasn’t shocking considering the quality of their other restaurants, but we went in with an open mind.
The service was excellent, the food all around amazing. This is a must visit while in Savannah in my opinion!

Nice place, friendly staff. Highly recommend the gnocchi and the pork! We tried most things on the menu and while everything was very good, we found those two dishes to be the best!

We travel often for both work and pleasure, so we dine out frequently and experience many cuisines. This was one of the best dining experiences we’ve had—exceptional without any unnecessary pomp or pretense.

From the first bite, it was clear the culinary team is both talented and thoughtful, creating perfectly balanced flavors. Everything was incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The service was spot-on: attentive when needed, never overbearing, and it enhanced the meal without making the experience about the server. The Carolina Gold Rice is a must try. Oysters are fresh and the Pork Belly entree was beyond amazing. If you enjoy vintage crafted cocktails, they mix a perfect Pimm's Cup.

We’ve already highly recommended Common Thread and can’t wait to dine here again on our next visit to Savannah. We may also make a trip back to Savannah just to dine at Common Thread again. Its that good!

Chef Victor and the Team at Common Thread provided us an extraordinary experience. We dine at many very good venues. Common Thread is one of the best we have had the pleasure to visit. Every aspect of the meal was incredible. The thoughtfulness, presentation, and especially the taste of the cuisine was amazing. We shared the Fall Squash, gnocchi, and NY Strip steak with peppercorn sauce. The last time we had a peppercorn sauce that good was at Le Cinc Restaurant at the Four Seasons, Paris (Michelin 3 Star). Throughout the meal, we could feel the presence of Chef Brandon who owns the establishment. We are frequent diners at one of Chef Brandon’s other restaurants, Farm in Bluffton. His influence in our meal was as evident as it was welcomed.

Bravo to Chef Victor and his Team for a superb evening of tremendous treats. We will return.
