Always awesome food. I get them to cater for Enmarket and family events. Best to call ahead because on Thursdays and Fridays (maybe Saturday too not sure) they do deep fried as well as smoked foods. The fried ribs and turkey legs are amazing. Very tender and excellent flavor. Very reasonable prices as well. The staff and owner are really down to earth guys. Highly recommend.

We have lived here almost 10 yrs and have just now got around to trying this gem! This is BBQ joint in the back of gas station... old school! From the moment you park the smell of smoke welcomes you! These guys smoke with pecan and have 24 yrs of experience! The ribs were the perfect balance of tenderness and smoky. The chicken will have you lickin them fingers. All of the sides are amazing and have that smoke flavor but faves are the collars and baked beans! Tany smoky with a finish of sweet is the best way to describe his sauce that you'll want have slathered on! The portions are good. This is food that you taste the soul! Go get you some!!!
I wish I could give 0 stars but I gave this place 1 cause of had no choice. The ribs were cold and burnt on the outside and so hard they felt like extra dried out treats I give to my dog. Also over priced and the sides are portioned way to small its like a 1 or 2 bite sample and they serve food that is days old and nuked in the microwave. Dont waste your time or your money on this place. The inside of the place looks raggedy and screams poverty. The energy is depressing and it looks unsanitary in there I know it can't be up to code. Avoid this place like the plague.

Best ribs of my life, the sauce I had to buy a jar of. It reminded me of my father grilling for the family functions when I was a young child. I only knew of this place driving to the Asian market for pho noodles...smelled the food... Saw the smoke and knew I had to stop. This old man does BBQ right. I will be driving 45 minutes once a week specifically to eat from him. THAT SAUCE THOUGH 🤤🤤🤤🙏

We smelled the grill from the road, turned around and found this spot. The ribs were delicious, the sauce was on point. We also got baked beans, they were pretty basic but we didn't stop for the beans! 😂 Now this was the taste and feel of the old days with backyard BBQs. Family is accurate. PS, we bought the family sauce, delicious!

I was traveling and searched for food. This place was a great find!!! The owner/young guy was friendly & professional! He shared the menu in a very fun & easy way. You could smell that perfect BBQ Smokey smell! I had chicken, baked beans & potato salad. Big portions & delicious!

Not sure what they have going on here, but I guess it is what it is. The ribs here are great, well at least they use to be. I would have once rated this place as excellent, but all of a sudden the prices spiked as the plates got smaller. To walk in and look at the menu is confusing. The menu quotes 6$ small, the father quotes 7$ small the next week, and the following week the son quotes 8$ small, with all of the tops cut off. The last time I checked, a rib is not the length of your pinky finger. A slab comes out cut into strips and fits in a small Togo box without request. Where dey do that at?? The sides are scooped with a extra small baby sherbet scooper and the bread, well sometimes you get a slice, sometimes you don't. Nevertheless it doesn't affect the price. Overall I assume if you can naw enough off the bone, or if you are blessed with a gristle, you may enjoy the smoke flavor. Good luck with dat. But if not, just ride on down Ogeechee Rd with your head hanging out the window and your mouth open as you drive by the Family BBQ hut and suck in as many AIR CLUSTERS you can. I promise it will be more filling and a HELLUVA lot cheaper. 2 ribs for 8 dollars y'all with Sauce on the side. INSULTING!
